That crazy lady customer is trying to drive me nuts. She must have a vision of a map she wants in her mind, but I think if she tries to explain what she wants all the information will run out of her mind and she will have nothing left in her brain.

I send an email and ask a simple question does she want the sections labeled with the section, township and range or not. Can she type a simple yes or no in an email? Nope she calls and tells me it would be OK? WFT, what would be OK? Yes or no labeled or not? She can't answer a yes or no question. She must be an attorney or a real estate agent or maybe she is a car dealer.

Get to go sit thru a consultant conference call this afternoon where they tell us how to migrate users now...even though they have yet to successfully migrate a user without problems. Currently the users are loosing all their server side rules when migrated and cannot access any of the conference rooms or shared mailboxes. Yee haaa

teaser!

ok so talk to me about core charges. I am looking at rebuilt rear calipers for the 911 from here. Its $100 core that you get back once you send in the old parts and they determine if they are able to rebuild them.

Sounds to easy for them to keep the core and the $100.

I have always been reimbursed for a core. Usually stuff like steering racks and alternators though. Never had to rebuild a brake caliper. On the 928 the rebuild kit (seals) are so expensive, you can just buy a new caliper for like $20 more. 928 GTS brakes are same as big reds, but are black. Can paint them red and double their value.

Rebuilding the core is pretty easy. I did all four of my calipers when I did my suspension refresh. Just get everything clean clean clean.
