My FIL bought a 1984 Z28 today to puts around in. He asked me if I could help him get it fixed up which I certainly will. Not a car I have had any interest in(I like the 70's and 93to2002 ones) but it will be a good project that we can include my kids in on.
He has a huge pole barn with every tool you could need AND a 2 post lift. The best part is that it will be HIS money we spend. ![]() Oh, the 911 is running stronger than ever.

I had an 82 Z28 complete with the killer 305 that lasted about a month under my rt foot. I transplanted a 73 Pontiac LT350 in it is the turbo 350, it was a fun car after that. I like that body style with the exception of the instrument cluster.

As expected the yard work was mostly trim on old creepy myrtle. When have several crepe myrtles in the yard. They always need a prune job in the spring.
We also got the fountain set up in the garden up front. Golly it was fun.

All set for Easter at my seester's house.
Peanut Butter pie is made, cake is baked waiting for daughter to install the frosting. Puppy chow is ready to go, too. I had a 94 Z with the LT1 and 6 speed gearbox. I added a bunch of aftermarket goodies and it was a fun car to have when I went through my divorce.

My grandmothers name was myrtle. She was old and creepy when she left her teeth in a glass overnight. She never needed trimming though, at under 5 foot, she was short enough.

At 23lbs, are you sure it's a cat and not a raccoon?

Had a pet coon in my neighborhood growing up, across the street. His name was stubby. Tail was only 3in. That thing got into everything! The same neighbor had a blood hound that must have been part monkey, they couldn't keep him in or out with any sort of fence.
The raccoon was hilarious at times. Next door neighbor had one of those blow up kiddie pools. Stubby would get inside the pool and push down on the side, the air would squish and water would start running over making a little water fall. Then Stubby would jump out and try to wash his hands where the water had been running. The hop back in the pool and push the side down, see the water running, and jump out and try to wash his hands again. Did the routine several times before giving up. Had a Maine Coon Kitten. Was under a year old when we gave him to one of Mom's nurses and he was already 15 lbs., the size of most adult cats. His Mom was 25lbs, and his Dad was 28lbs.

Okay, it's been 4 days with the back door closed and no indoor incidents, I am announcing Pepper as officially House Broken!!!!!
She is also peeing on command. So I can have her "Do her stuff" before taking her for a ride and not worry about having to stop for a pee break.

A couple of scans of my old track rat at Summit Point. This is the one we used as a test mule for parts we weren't too sure about when I used to build for Malvern Racing.
My daughter put this car around a tree. ![]()

Thats the funny part, it was a 318, with about 45K worth of trick parts and was blazingly fast on a track full of corners. She was hard to pass at Summit Point but at V.I.R. she was a sitting duck. Removing close to 30lbs from the flywheel helped her fire out of a corner very well. She was very fast at the Auto-X as well.
There were a great number of people who made me pop the hood to prove she was running a 4-Banger, those usually showed up after they couldn't catch her. Of course it wasn't exactly a stock engine. She had an M44 Block with an M42 head, Schrick cams, creative cam timing and a custom chip. She Dyno-ed 240 to the ground. The only thing left under her that said BMW was the floor pan. A wolf in sheeps clothing. I wish I still had her
