man,it WAS going to be a good day.

I started a thread about my Suquinox running hot today. Strange stuff.

Guess I shouldn't have washed the engine bay yesterday.

Thank goodness for my FIL and him having a trailer to haul it home.

Still working on it, though. Had to stop to get supper started

See you should just forget that water cooler stuff and stick to reliable air cooling!

Evening Y'all,
Sometimes you are not always the bug, today I got to be the windshield. It was the finalization of a long string of stupid mistakes that has been going on since March.
I do a great deal of resto work, about 80% and I really like it until you have a customer that thinks they know more then me. Case and point back in March a fellow comes in with an old Saab 99 and this thing is using more oil then fuel, so I told him it was time to let me rebuild the engine, nope, lets overhaul the PCV system.
a month later, it must be the carbs...................Hey you should really let me rebuild this engine. Later on it was into the dizzy........................Hey buddy, yanno those rings are not gonna heal themselves.
Okay he says it is finally time for the engine to come out but, he buys a bone yard engine from some fly by night place on line.
I swapped it out and laughed like a clown when it has a rod knock that scared the freight train that was running past the shop.
Sooooooo Aahhhhhhhhhh, You want me to rebuild your engine while I have it sitting on the floor over yonder.
It's good to be king from time to time

A big turnout on the hill this morning for the dawn service. It gets bigger every year - a good thing.

Now typing "fingers crossed" would be considered cross words, and Sid I doubt you are gonna move any houses using cross words, just sayin'

The current guesstimate from the media is 5500 people on the hill this morning (town pop. 29k).

Glen and Mrs Carrera were leaving Chili's as my brothers and I walked in. They might have seen us coming and left.

There was too much lime on the pork carnitas tacos. Couldn't taste the pork.
Shoulda got ribs so Pepper could be knawin them bones.
