I don't have a lawn, I have grass
I don't think my wife knows where the lawnmower is. She sure does not know how it works.

Many years ago my sister-in-law heard that it is easy and cheap to over-seed the lawn in the fall with winter rye. My brother was out mowing the yard on news years day. He explained clearly and honestly that if she ever did that again SHE would be mowing on New years day, not him. Her only reply was how pretty the yard looked. He reminded her that the mower would be winterized on Thanksgiving day and put away for winter. She can hire it done after that. He lives in Alabama so the growing season is long.

Oh great, my bosses think that when Microsoft says you don't pay for utility accounts, that means any mailbox without a physical user instead of just resources like room calendars and shared mailboxes. Yikes. Example: each of our copiers with scan capability has a mailbox to email scans to users. They think that is a utility mailbox that does not require a license. Any account used to login and send mail is a user mailbox and requires a license.

What gets me is when we were using just the exchange server mailboxes costed more than the exchange online mailboxes, but they charged you based on a total and called each mailbox a seat. Exchange online charges per each mailbox and calls them mailboxes so now it is an issue.

Joe, maybe if your Molle was pink they wouldn't be so "ascared".

Our neighbor takes a run now and then in shorts and his farmer work boots which are unlaced half the time. He also happens to fit the description of the uni-bomber. Good thing we know him and he is actually a pretty laid back farmer.

My wife knows where the lawn tractor is and will use it now and then if it is too busy in the evenings and it cant wait for the weekend. We only use weed and feed right before dandelion season to keep them down. Otherwise we would have a yellow and white lawn.

It is raining pretty hard today. It reminds me just how crappy the Goodyear Eagle LS tires are if it isn't warm and dry out. I need a track day to wear them out and toss them.

Rick, hope you day improves if only for the sake of the town. Maybe don't drive the big truck.

My wife grew up in the low desert and was used to hot and dry, like 20 - 30 % humidity dry. Her first visit to WI was 104* and 97% humidity and it was shocking to her. I would still take the weather here over summers in El Centro. It is so hot there that construction workers don't put their foil wrapped burritos in the engine bay to warm them up, they drop them on the dash in the full sun. It is so hot there the trees whistle for the dogs. A good parking spot isn't close to the door it is under that one palm tree that provides shade. The reason they only get 3 inches of rain per year is that the rain evaporates before it gets to the ground.

Actually the part about heating a burrito isn't a joke.

We got the per CPU license for Exchange instead of seats.

Our ex-CEO wanted to switch everything to Google mail. One year cost as much as the Exchange license and the integration with AD wasn't as smooth as it is with 365. I said no.

I have been testing the battery life on my new laptop. I was using it in a normal mode with very little idle time. The battery was down to 10% after 5 hours. It has a SSD but even with no spinning drive hard drive use seems to use more power than I expected. I figured the SSD would need very little power to do tasks but it does seem to suck power.

Anyway, 5 hours of regular use with room to spare is not bad.

5 hours is pretty good for what you have performance wise. Actually, an SSD uses less power under load but about the same or more at idle. Tom's Hardware did some studies and came away surprised. Though a spinny drive doesn't use much power at all once it is spun down.

My wife came home and said as of now she has just 8 working days left until she retires. After today it can't come fast enough.

Evening Y'all,
Oooops someone let the heat get to them today. I went for a hike, I figured I can whip up on a few trees. Walked back in the house and the AC put me on the floor.
Yes I know you can send me my Darwin

I am closer to 8 years away. I may increase my naps to three a day if necessary. I still go in 30 minutes before we open and sometimes I don't leave for lunch.

Hi Azzy. Are you enjoying our hotter weather? I'm ready to flee this for 60/70 degree weather in a few weeks.

the thing I don't like the most about the hot sunny days, is parking the car out in the sun and the damage it will do to the interior, so I have a shade cover, and usually try to find shade to park her in if I am shopping etc
