Hopefully the mud will have dried up by then too.
Beth and I hopped in Lanna and headed out to no where in particular, we ended up in Farmville Va. Stopped at a diner had some lunch and rented a couple of bikes and headed up an old logging trail to High Bridge, the site of the last civil war battle.
It was a fun day.

Stijn!!

Burp. Good eats at the welcome party. They have a good replica of Janice Joplin's 356 and the party is a 60s theme. Since I remember the 60's clothes sucked I haven't had bell bottoms in years and I hated when that was all the was available.

Morning Y'all,
Yeah I wasn't a fan of bell bottoms either, nor the slimmer version they called boot cut

Big Bells were popular when I was in HS. You could stuff 3 beers in each sock, cover them with the bells and nobody was the wiser.

We also found Margaritas in Gatorade jars was never suspect.

Someone shoot me if/when I get old and I forget I've told the same stories repeatedly every night for the past week, and they are the same stories I told repeatedly last year, and the year before, and the year before that, and .....you get the idea....

Just be thankful you can remember hearing the story.

You just have to start your stories with "Stop me if you've heard this one."

My Mother-in-Law will be 95 this year. She's losing it. She asks me and my wife the same questions 4-5 times in an hour. Kind of scary.

My Mom would ask where we are going 4 or 5 times in the 3 miles it takes to get there. She would have been 96 this year.

She asked when we were going home, but never asked who I was.

Jim,

That's actually just fine for a 95y/o.

My mother is 59 and tells me the same story multiple times in an hour and asks the same questions a couple times within an hour.

She's currently headed down an ugly path of anxiety and paranoia and we're trying to get help before something bad happens.

On a lighter note, my 911 broke a couple head studs this weekend (or I finally figured it out)...opportunity for a bad arse build has come a knockin'

Good morning all.

This old hotel is neat and I am real happy it was modernized. I have to assume it was designed buy a very swishy gay designer that ONLY cared about the was things look and had no intention of humans actually staying there.

They have a nice looking table-desk and two chairs that i am using. The chair has a very tall back and stupidly short legs. Sitting in the chair the table is even with my shoulders. it is like being 5 again only my arms hurt since i have to hold my arms at a funny angle.

The closet has abut 6 inches of space to hang clothes but it has a huge pedestal with a safe mounted to it using most of the space normal humans have for clothes.

The showed is a nice big rectangle. The insane part is the shower head in on the short side and the shower curtain is short. There is just enough room to take a shower if you stand right under the head. there is a TON of room to put your hands straight out but I don't usually stand that way trying to take a shower. If you move back the shower curtain moves and the floor floods. I bet it looks good on a layout and photographs nice. It is a pain to use.

I would love to find the designer and make him or her use that exact design for their home bathroom.

Off to the concours.

Saucy, the 911 rebuild can be a very slippery slop of "while I am in there" projects. For sure the 964 cams and some machine work is on order. The rest is just money. Just remember the further from stock the worse the reliability for most things.

Old mate is wearing me down. When he starts, I'll answer with something like 'yeah, you were saying the other day'. He'll either keep going or start on another one he's told me. We're sometimes only talking hours between the same stories. The old mate never shuts up.

I like my own space occasionally, and I've still got an irritated throat and don't feel like long conversations as given enough time I'll get into a coughing fit. Old mate follows me around talking at me, and I'm not enough of a prick to ignore him. I can't even get time out watching the idiot box for the constant distraction of having someone talking at me. I have to bugger off to get some peace.

Don't get me wrong, I love Sharyns fossils and get on with them well. Just tire of the ear bashing (I must be getting older coz I think I get less tolerant each year). One week down, fcuknose how many more to go.

Okay, rant done. I'll try not to bore you with another, but that may depend upon how long they choose to stay.

Jeff just finish his stories for him. That tends to slow them down.
