Good morning.

Another busy day. It is funny, when we normally fly a project most customers want full sun for the pretty image and that is great. To get the ideal 3D image however a solid overcast works great. With no shadows the sides of structures look better. No we have a little project that they want 3D imagery of the site and we have nothing but sun. I guess we need several full sun projects to get done to get the weather to change. Actually we would love several projects to fly all the time.

Morning all. drove the 911 in to work this am. She was not happy and I found the idle was set to low. Seems that stopping at lights made for engine stalls. Al fixed now I hope.

Mertnin.

Wish resetting the idle was all my 928 needed to stop it from idling poorly and stalling at stops.

Probably a leak in the intake manifold. Or a stuck exhaust valve. Muffler belt? Halogen fluid low?

I think the mechanic that changed to oil last adjusted it down and he should have left it alone. I'll see how it does on the ride home tonight.

Morning all. Just landed back in oz. One more flight to get home. It'll be good to see the missus again in real life rather than Skype.

I agree. Skype is great, but it is not like being there. Can't do a dutch oven over Skype!

My brain is tired. I have been playing bookkeeper most of the day. Then one of the good customers called and wanted to pay their bill with a credit card. When we started our company I bought a Square Reader for taking credit cards hoping we would get to do the project for that client, the FAA. Within a few weeks of starting on our own we did a little job and they paid with a credit card. That was a full year ago that I ran it with just a number.

So today, one full year later I have to remember how to even do it. It took me a few minutes to dredge up the memory on how to run a credit card with just the number. I got it done. Time to go drink one of the bosses beers.

Whew....
After lunch spent until only a few minutes ago at the eye doc.
From 12:30pm to 5pm. Yikes. Is this better or this? And lots of shining bright lights in my eyes.
It was a 5 year follow up exam for the drug testing for my Retinopathy.
Took all afternoon, they gave me 5 $25 Walmart gift cards to commemorate the 5 years.
Can't you take home the entire inventory at Walmart for $125?

Morning all.

Once again we delivered a project to specs. They all always want very high resolution images. THe area is a couple of square miles. The final image is a 6.4 GB tif file. Even the latest and greatest version of Photoshop pukes at the thought of that. To do any editing of it we have to gut it into 4 quadrants with the mapping software, output the 4 files, edit it, and then the mapping software opens it and it is reassembled. If you don't have professional level mapping software, you can't use the full resolution files.

We can make lower resolution files easily, but if you zoom in they are low resolution, Duh.

Morning all. Well the parking lot tune up seems to have worked. No issues on the way home or into work today.

I prefer to be a non-communicator when I fly. But I will be pleasant if talked to.

Welcome home, Jeff!
