That's nice looking country Rick.

RKDinOKC 10-12-2015 01:43 AM

Those aren't landscape pictures, they are portraits if trees and rocks.

I am not feeling this monday thing.
The rescue squad just rolled in across the street and they are not moving too fast. I thing the old guy expired. He is 105 so he can't ***** too much

Outback Porsche 10-12-2015 04:05 AM

That's not a bad cricket score for old mate if he is at the end of his innings.

BTW, Mondays suck. David musta passed on one of his headaches, the bastard thing has been giving me curry all day.

Rick V 10-12-2015 04:08 AM

Okay stow that diagnosis, they hauled him out of the house in a wheel chair. Holy crap that man is going to outlive all of us

Outback Porsche 10-12-2015 04:15 AM

Woohoo, keep on kicking old mate :)

RKDinOKC 10-12-2015 04:20 AM

Bet those ER guys would much rather be helping someone to the hospital than making a cooler run.

RKDinOKC 10-12-2015 04:33 AM

Is this what liberals do with ammo?

Yes, yes it is.

Mrs Saucy's first day back at work since having Saucy 2.0. Tough morning

Oh Haha 10-12-2015 05:26 AM

Great photos Rick!

Daughter and I rode a bike trail through the woods near our house yesterday. I know winter is coming but days like that are why I don't mind the season changing.

Good Monday morning all.

One of the local university has us fly the campus every couple of years. It is just amazing how much a campus changes in a few years. New building pop up where there used to be parking lots. I have no idea where they expect the people to park if they cover all the lots with new buildings. They will build a new parking lot at the edge of campus and then the precious snowflakes students just can't imagine walking 1/4 mile to the classes.

Anyway the university always has grandiose requests for not just an aerial photo but full one foot resolution topographic maps, full planimetric maps and full GIS. We always tell them to dream big but then they come back nad whine it if is over a few grand. What they want would be an easy 50 large and we would love to do it for them but we are not a charity, slaves or whores and prefer to be paid a fair market value for the products since we have things we want to buy as well.

We are going to try a bigger dog and pony show for them to show them some real world possibilities. In the end I bet we do the same old thing, one big picture and some digital files they will not be smart enough to use.

Talked to what looks like is going to be my dog storage lady. It's $30 bucks a day and I supply Pepper's food. She calls it Doggy Boot Camp. Her goldens are a hunting dog, obedience/show dog, agility dog, and a working drug dog so she covers all aspects of training with focus on the basic obedience stuff that makes a good dog. Considers Pepper at almost 11 months old still a puppy.

It's a lot cheaper than having that lady come stay with Mom last year.

RKDinOKC 10-12-2015 06:00 AM

Joe, what do you do with your dog when you go out of town?

Did you tell the lady that Pepper is a wild child? I hope the lady knows her training stuff. The best part is Pepper will have some playmates. She needs some doggy companionship.

RKDinOKC 10-12-2015 06:40 AM

She says Pepper's wild child tendency is typical golden puppy behavior up to a year and a half to two years old and is looking forward to having an excited puppy around.

Didn't have my first golden around any other dogs, the result was she thought she was people and ignored other dogs. She never did get nearly as excited as Pepper does around new people. Just had to train her to not jump up on people, same with my last golden.

If my friend's wife in Austin wasn't one of those allergic to everything people I wouldn't hesitate to take Pepper to Austin with me.

If it's just for a night or two, she goes to the kennel. We have a really nice one here where they give the dogs individual attention, lots of play time and treats.
When I went to Va, my mom watched her. The kennel is a bit over $50/night and parents are free.

Jim Richards 10-12-2015 07:09 AM

Mmbl. Pfft. Yawn. Whassup with this time zone?

RKDinOKC 10-12-2015 07:19 AM

Wow, $30/night keeping the dog AND doing training sounds like a great deal.
