Too hot is something you will never hear me say
|
Unfortunately the nice weather ends just in time for the weekend. Possible winter mix and rain for Sunday.
|
You can keep that Glen, I'll take the warm weather thanks
|
I wish that were possible.

Does your bum cover leak?

Not today
I found out today that my employer makes a rail gun, woohoo :D Actually, it's a working prototype (good enough for me). https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GXF0n6aojSc |
Morning,
lights out, no light at work. Time for a morning nap... :) |
If I bump up Peggy's alternator we can mount one in the bed. LETS DO IT!!!

Morning Rick.
I liked your vid, it's a short commute. When does the sun come out to play? :D |
Evening Jeff.
It was already out but the blonde, er I mean fog was hiding it. |
The wildlife was out and about early this morning - a very healthy looking dingo, a couple of large roos, and a couple of herds of steak.
Then another roo and an eagle out enjoying this afternoons storm. |
I have yet to brave the outside, Not too sure what I will see this morning other then pirate ships again, it is another blonde morning
|
It's going to be nice outside. Too bad I work inside. Hmmm, hookie, perhaps. :D
Just under three weeks until our next work-cation. Hopefully the last one before we bail out of this working-for-a-living thing. |
Morning all. On my commute I watched a pretty sunrise. Lotsa a reds and oranges colors.
No life wildlife for me today, just wild-dead. Some road kill possums but that is quite normal. |
Red sky at morning, sailor take warning. Just sayin'... ;)

I have heard that phrase from my dad as a kid. I have no doubt it means a lot.
Around here 99.5% of the time the weather moves from the southwest to the north east. It can be a last of a front moving out that allows for the red sky in the morning. Oklahoma City has one of the top sailing lakes in the country from what I hear from my buddies with boats. This sounds funny but we have a lake on top of a hill and there is almost always a wind. There are many regattas held there through the year. It is a man made lake and 3.8 square miles. It is a nice safe place to sail. Hobie Cat Forums • View topic - OK- Lake Hefner Oklahoma City |
That's from a sailors' rule of thumb for weather forecasting used for many, many years.
Red sky at night, sailors' delight. Red sky at morning, sailors take warning. NOAA offers an explanation of what's behind this mariners' rhyme. ESRL Global Monitoring Division - Global Radiation Group |

Think I may take today and tomorrow off before winter sets in again. Got hole in roof fixed yesterday $100. He also tossed the rest of the limbs off the roof and checked for any more bad place. Getting guttering fixed today, not sure what it will cost, the gutter guy says he can fix it instead of replacing the whole seamless gutter run, was quoted $400 for the whole run. Something about not bringing the seamless gutter trailer out. Going to play outside today cutting up and moving limbs from the back yard to the front. |
morning all. its still a bit windy and wet here. Another front is supposed to come in today and dump more wet.
