Our ice/snow mixture is probably going to melt away soon as we are going to be in the 40's today.

I dropped off the tires and they had the audacity to have another customer's job on the tire machine. My tires are up next but they will not be done until tomorrow.

Not that it matters much. I am not driving the 911 in with ice on the ground and these cold temps. I will now have summer performance tires so no near or below freezing driving.

Good Tuesday morning. I did not drive through all that crap you people sent me yesterday and stayed home. There were 5 accidents in the small town between me and work including one roll over. You have to be stupid to drive on ice at a speed in which your car will roll over if you go off the road. Even if you don't you will be so far off the road as to make returning the vehicle to the road difficult. I drove a bit yesterday and one car in front of me was a Chevy HHR and it was blown to the shoulder 3 times in the 2.5 miles to town. I had the truck with Blizzaks and it was blowing me around as well. In town was fine because they had snow to get traction with.

I take it you all have a good weekend other than some hit and run deer. Rick, Peggy would have laughed the deer off like a bug.

Driving on ice? I haven't done much of that for years. I'm in no hurry to change that, either.

I've been under the weather for the past 4 days, and counting. The shellacking of a certain football team a few days ago didn't help matters, either. In the morning, we're bugging out for SoCal. That should make everything better.

We got 5-6 inches of snow then it change to sleet. Started plowing roads at 4:30 this morning and got them all done by noon. Didn't sand any of them as the forecast is for sleet/ freezing rain till later this evening. We salted the black top but didn't sand the dirt roads. Doesn't do any good to sand and then get ice on top of it.
I'm sure my phone will be ringing. Usually some idiot that had to go to the store for beer or cigs and then can't make it back to the house cause he's got bald tires. This road foreman job sucks at times.

Can I change the drawer configuration? I actually have a few that the boxes they are in won't fit in any of those, Porta power, Hub tamer, fuel pressure kit.

So I am taking the kids from mom and dads and there is a half chicane in the road as it is kind of a short block due to an old building in the way. Well we have some snow cover on the streets so I kick the back end out on both parts and Jacob in the back seat says that I did both close together so I get double points but the second one wasn't very good so I only get 600 points times 2. Kids these days.

This is our slow time of year. I think we had a customer phone call today. Many of or customers are large corporate or government and they all seem to be out of the office this week.

This is the completely dead time in my biz. I love to see the new kids face basically no pay for a couple of weeks. They flip out.

The staff here is 24/7 but those of us in management get Friday off. Short day Thursday if I get caught up on my crap.
