Yeah, go with either the MIB or Matrix "Agent" look.

Do all my cooking before Christmas, then just sit back and enjoy everyone else's.

It was bright and sunny here on Saturday with little wind so we flew our little Corsair. I did not wait for the timer because it was so cold it stopped working and my hands told me it was time to quit. A good day of not crashing otherwise. I even braved some barrel rolls.

We had some snow Friday night and there is a hill just outside of town where mom and dad live. There were five cars at the bottom because it got so slick they couldn't stop going down and couldn't make it back up. The fire truck went out to direct traffic and the driver was just leaving town and let off the gas for the first little turn and it started to slide. He said he wasn't going to hit the brakes and slide of the road so he just drove out of it. He also happens to be one of the premier dirt track drivers in the area so he was used to looking out the passenger window to drive.

We then had thunderstorms last night and lots of precipitation through this morning. All of the unfrozen kind fortunately.

Rick, we have several maple trees. They shed everything from twigs to logs so we keep nothing that isn't expendable under them. We do have the fire ring between and under two of them for convenience.

Short day here for me. The littler one has a Christmas concert at 2:30. I am not big into concerts or parades and I have a serious dislike for Christmas music but they are only little once.

I have not been a Christmas music fan either. The other day I went into a local grocery store. They were playing the worst of the worst. I swear it was 1960s Children's version of bad Christmas music.

I do like this Christmas song. Maybe you can get the kids to sing this for you!

It beats the heck of of the 12 days of Christmas.

I like the song, but I REALLY REALLY DON'T want a mistress for Christmas. I hear they are really expensive.

Went to a friend's Dad's funeral this afternoon. It was a Baptist church thing. Spent two hours at a family luncheon at the church, then another two hours at the memorial service, then sat around at his Mom's house with a few relatives. Was his only friend that bothered to show up.

His Dad is the one that retired from two careers making more retirement than I make salary. A Major in the Air Force that flew generals around, then an Administrator/Special Ed Teacher in the local school system. He was 80 and had Alzheimer's the last 5 years.

When I told him about my brother Bob being a UFO freak he told me to never tell my brother he was in charge of all UFO reports over DC for two years.

Just trudging forward and trying to prioritize the new year. I've got a ton of paperwork to clear, then an 'interview' and some other opportunities that have started to pop up.
It's gonna be a fun 2016.

Wow. My daughter and I ran to the store tonight. In the span of an hour we saw the following:

A fatal car accident scene.

An old lady walking through the store eating out of a bag of chips.

A male employee cranking out a very loud "BUUUUURRRRRRPPP" in the layaway section.

A very large possum run out in front of us, stop, then run back into the ditch. It would have caused some serious damage had I hit him/her.

A large something wrapped in plastic in the roadway. Had to swerve to miss it.

Must be that "M" word day.

Good freakin Morning group!

Just heard a jet whistle as it went by. Don't usually hear them whistle. Couldn't make out the tune though.

Yeah, we've missed your neighbor/commanodo/gym/britishcar/cigar/whiskey exploits!

Met a young girl at the eye doctor yesterday. Or at least I think she was young, was dilated and couldn't see very well. Anyway, she was very curious about the beard. Said if she was a guy she would let it grow out like mine instead of shaving. The question is...Is she full hippy or trimmed herself?
