Morning Y'all
Pizza, save me a seat I'm on the way

Morning Rick. Hows it hanging?

RKDinOKC 01-20-2016 03:35 AM

Pizza sounds good. Had lasagna for dinner. Prefer crust to noodles. A local Pizza place, Marco's sells lasagna without the noodles. It's just meetballs, sauce, and cheese. Get it to make whole wheat spaghetti and meatballs.

Need to redo my college days whole wheat crust pizza. What I made back then feeds way too many people. Medium sized, but was 6 inches think and only 1/2 inch of that was the crust. It would feed 8-10 people. Last time I made one was in the mid 80's and cost $35 in ingredients.

Worked at a Pizza restaurant in college back in 1980. Two of the things I fixed myself to eat were added to the menu. First was my Nachos. Was the first to put meat on nachos, anywhere. Within a year restaurants were doing meat nachos everywhere. The other was and Italian club sandwich.

When I came home for the summer my parents asked me to make a pizza. Since my Dad was diabetic worked until came up with and excellent whole wheat crust. Then went nuts with all the ingredients. Some people got upset when they found I used Ragu for the sauce, but it sure was good.

The more the merrier.

The beer fridge and wine rack are plenty stocked

Oooh, that reminds me. I need to fill one of my port barrels.

So while I was out this arvo for the bonecracker visit I stopped on the way home and did some hunting and gathering like real men do.

Got me some stuff to make the following;
1. The Hawaiian,
2. The Marinara,
3. The Aussie, and
4. The Accident

Who's coming over for a feed?

Hmmm, the Accident sounds interesting.

That's the one with all the leftovers on it, and a good handful of Thai birdseye chilli fresh from my garden. The accident happens if you can't manage the burning ring of fire before you get to the crapper in the morning. :D

Jim Richards 01-20-2016 03:53 AM

Uhh, can I have a mulligan on that choice?

Outback Porsche 01-20-2016 03:57 AM

Sure :D

Good morning btw.

Jim Richards 01-20-2016 04:00 AM

Mornin' Jeff. It's hump day, but the end of this week looks to slam us hard with a lot of snow. Why am I still here?

Outback Porsche 01-20-2016 04:00 AM

Shaz has climbed into the fart sack, I'm gunna go see if I can't get my face slapped :D

Night all SmileWavy

GH85Carrera 01-20-2016 05:20 AM

Morning all.

Hump day again.

We had devastating news last night, my favorite Chinese food place is closed forever. :(

They always made me a meal they was not even on the menu. This is horrible.

RKDinOKC 01-20-2016 06:12 AM

Not very good at reading Mandarin.

GH85Carrera 01-20-2016 06:19 AM

It is "Lake Tung Ting Shrimp" or at least that is what is sounds like when they say it.

RKDinOKC 01-20-2016 06:36 AM

Must not know Mandaring cause don't get anything even close to that.

Oh Haha 01-20-2016 06:41 AM

hey

It appears that we will be missed by the big storm coming through. We are only supposed to have light stuff.

I figured we wouldn't get much this year because I have a snowblower now.

Wife had to go into the plant last night to fire another employee. Apparently, he went on a rant the night before about killing all the MF'ers in the place and racist stuff.

She was pretty upset when she got home. As she was having him escorted out he called her a bit^$ and spit at her. It missed but she was still pretty pi$$ed. I like that the police dept is about a mile away.

RKDinOKC 01-20-2016 06:55 AM

Hope he doesn't come back!

Oh Haha 01-20-2016 06:59 AM

me too, Richard.

I always worry about a worse case scenario when she has to fire an employee. You just never know how they might react.

My wife was the HR manager at a large university. At least once a year they had to fire a hostile person. She would have the campus police have two officers in her office and they would escort him off campus and sometimes file a restraining order that they are not allowed on campus and would be arrested on sight.

She is really happy to be done with that crap.
