Wow, I am luvin the new spam filter I moved to on my email server. Today i only got 2 spam emails and they were in my quarantine! And no false positives, ie all the good emails came to my in-box. Looking at the logs it auto-rejected 40 spams.

It is a Canadian company and their filter service puts together 6 other spam filters.

GH85Carrera 02-23-2016 11:38 AM

Yea, we are loving that spam filter with the new settings. I was getting over 100 spam messages every day from the .top and .eu domains.

Now I have just a few to dig through.

It is comical how stupid some of the spam is. I am glad it is gone.

As you accept and reject messages it will get smarter.

Sid,
If you are interested I can dig up my list of vitamins and supplements I put Mom on after her stroke. Recovery Doc liked it enough he put them on her med chart when she was in recovery so they would make sure she got them. From what I found patients that took them were recovering 46% faster and more completely. She recovered almost 100% after her first stroke. Problem was her stupid old ass Doctor kept her on the medication that was causing it (Stroke was the first side effect listed). Couldn't get her off that med until I changed doctors after her second stroke. By then enough damage was done that even though she recovered, she slowly fell into post stroke dementia (very similar to Alzheimer's but brain fade is much slower).

Thanks for the offer but its ok. Thuy's stepmom is a Doc, and if its not her idea nothing happens. Frustrating situation, but I digress...

Sorry to hear about your friend! Stick with the quitting the cancer sticks. I think the 40+ years of smoking is what landed her dad in this mess...

aSp far so good. They didn't have to rush me off to the hospital or anything

Gpt my 27" screen set to think it is 1000 x 700 so everything is huge and I can almost read everything it.

With my limited vision itis lookin good Glen. It just doesn't look as old somehow.

Condolences for friend. Had a friend several years ago that went in to have a lump removed and never woke up from the anesthetic.

Summer cold :(

Jim Richards 02-23-2016 10:44 PM

Spring (at least it is here in Valencia) allergy season and my inevitable sinus infection. Oh joy.

Outback Porsche 02-23-2016 10:51 PM

G'day Jim, I thought that you're not supposed to get crook on a holiday. More so when you're OS.

Jim Richards 02-23-2016 11:10 PM

Yeah, that sucks. A few weeks ago my son and DIL got sick on the last few days of their trip to Thailand. It's a damn conspiracy!

RKDinOKC 02-23-2016 11:31 PM

Wow, my right eye is already clearer than it's been in a long time.

Jim Richards 02-23-2016 11:53 PM

That's great to hear, Richard!

Outback Porsche 02-24-2016 12:30 AM

Good news Richard

Outback Porsche 02-24-2016 03:22 AM

The chatter on faceplant reckons we've had the hottest February day on record. Some reckon it was 43C at 6:30 this evening. A few hours later and my home weather station has the outside temp at 35C.

And here I am, laid up all day under the aircon and ceiling fans with a cold and a rotten headache. Snif...

ckelly78z 02-24-2016 03:57 AM

43C is a hot day (109F for us Americanos) really sucks you have a cold on a hot day.

GH85Carrera 02-24-2016 05:24 AM

Good Hump day morning

Good to hear you can see Richard.

Sorry your are feeling bad Jeff & Jim.

Jim Richards 02-24-2016 07:03 AM

We walked the beach here for an hour or two. That was nice, in spite of feeling a bit under the weather. I was wearing a short sleeve t-shirt in February and liking it. Whoo hoo!

Jim Richards 02-24-2016 07:04 AM

Happy humping, y'all!

RKDinOKC 02-24-2016 07:04 AM

Great day in the morning!

Took off work today for my eye. Evidently Pepper thinks I absolutely have to be up at this time. She will not let me lay down. She barks and nudges me till I get up, then leaves me alone unless I lay back down.

They gave me some sort of weird new age pirates eye patch to wear. It's clear.

Hope you guys get well soon. They say getting too hot when it is cold out is what causes colds.

The sinuses on my left side have been stuffy since my left eye got blurry. That eye waters all the time like it is trying to clear the blurry.
