The movie was good with a couple of things you didn't expect.

Tommy Chong played a hippie yak. Not much of a stretch but funny.

Phew,

Mrs Carrera decided she would "let" me help her trim more of the Crepe Myrtles, Golly what fun.

Then I decided to attack what was supposed to be a simple fix on the 911. Now I have the driver's seat out and will work on one of the power switches, and that was not even the project I started on. I have a keypad on the 911 that requires a code to be entered before the car can be started. It is a easy way to keeping a bad guy from starting the car. The old keypad quit working right and I figured it would be easy to swap in a new keypad. Nope, that old model is no longer made and the same company only makes a new and improved version with completely different wiring diagram. So it is start from ground zero.

The plumbers showed up late this afternoon.

They worked for a few hours and dug a big hole and trench but did not touch the sewer as yet. Of course they went home for the weekend. It is supposed to rain tomorrow or Sunday. the trenches will fill with water, the yard will be a swamp of mud. Oh well.

In the King James Bible it instructs people to "Ease" themselves outside the boundary of the camp or village to keep things clean. "Ease" meaning going to the toilet. The part of your property that the city owns for moving waste away is called an Easement. So if something is easy, does it have poop all over it?

Doing some packing this afternoon. We're not going to take much out west, so we'll be donating/tossing out crap, too.

Send me a PM and we can swap cell phone numbers. When do you expect to come through the area? We would love to meet up if possible.

Replied!

I had a long day in the garage playing with the keypad. Getting the old system out, and the new system in and my secret hidden total bypass of the system. What a pain. The new system is just different. I sure don't trust it as my only way to start the car. I have a hidden switch up in the trunk that will bypass the system and let me start up.

Got it, Glen. Our current plan is to head west on I40. We should be able to let you know about 24 hours ahead of time when we expect to be in town.

Darn fine spring day here!

I got the JD out and rolled the mole hills down and mulched up the twigs and dog bombs.

We are hosting Easter dinner tomorrow. Ye Olde Ham is in the Crotch Pot to cook all night.

A bottle of Stella Artois, fresh pineapple slices and maple syrup for it to bathe in.

Our new neighbors moved in across the street. yay

Goin to brother's for Easter dinner. Usually have oven roasted hams because typically have about 30 people. Hope they have Plane Crash pie. It's chocolate ice box pie with oreo crust, chocolate chips, fudge pudding, chocolate moose, and shaved chocolate. They call it plane crash pie because one of the kids said it was like a chocolate plane crashed.
