Good Morning,

Jeff, the center one the grill is the same colour as the body.

Wayne the trim is that silver color, ie around the windows and that strip along the bottom below the doors and the Cayenne Turbo script on the rear hatch. The first one the grill is that color.

Changed my thoughts. I think body color grills would look better than silver.

I painted the grill kidneys and the trim black on our BMW which looked good. and different from the next guy.

The new coach was too much like a drill sergeant and gave them an orientation speech yellng at them telling them to compete they were going to have to work harder than they ever had before, and that they had to want it, and maybe called them ladies or pukes or something demeaning and they needed to man/woman up or go home.

Just want it to look nice, little different than stock to make it my own, but not interested in blinging or ricing it up like it was some kind of track car or like I was a playa (ex baller or rapper).

The one for $26K in Chicago even had the video screens in the head rests of the front seats. Pepper don't need to watch no movies or dog shows while riding.

There are two things at the top of my list so far.
White gauge faces so I can see how fast I am going better. The red needle gets lost on the black when the sun is bright.
Replace or repaint the radio buttons on the steering wheel, they are all scratched up.

Found a white gauge face overlay kit for $29, another for $700, and two or three in between.

Found to replace the steering wheels buttons I have to replace the airbag too for $1300 new. I may try finding some paint and painting them. Or start searching the salvage yards.

Actually, my daughter told me the coaches were too lenient. The coach she wants to go back to is tough on her but also shows them compassion.

I like your thinking Richard. I've done that with most of my cars. It may be subtle but it will be just a little different.

My Suquinox looks like every other silver one out there except that my exhaust is black.

Hey, There's Jim! How's the life of leisure?

Wanna go up to the San Jose area and look for a house, then change your mind and back out when it comes down to signing an offer telling him it's just $100 to much?

I know a relator.

If you like looking at houses it might be fun! LOL.

If he takes you too look at any houses in his Audi Q7, you could tell him the last relator you used drove a Cayenne and you liked it a lot better.

Oh, used to have to do that valve adjustment thing on the 914 all the time. At least on the driver's side. The driver's side intake and exhaust valves kept wondering. Mech said it was because the headers were close on that side.

Just got my free thermostat. Looks like a nice one and has just as many features besides the electric company peak operation thing as my old expensive set back thermostat. It event has a filter replacement reminder. Has home and away features etc. It talks to my electric meter so it is on the electric companies network. If it would talk to a home automation network it would be perfect. Didn't take very long just jack up that side, take the wheel off and pop the valve cover off. The valve cover was held on with a bail like most old brake reservoirs.

The peak thing it runs for 3 hours before the peak time starts at 2pm week days to pre-cool the house, then lets the house get a couple of degrees hotter before it run the A/C during the peak time of 2pm to 7pm. It can be overridden if I get uncomfortable. The installer guy showed me how to turn off the peak thing so it can be just a really nice programable thermostat.
