So I looked at the local place, they usually don't have much used in stock and I find this.

Uncle Ike's Music & Sound - Used Legion 5 pc kit w/cymbals UDK10

I've not heard of that brand but at that price it's probably a good deal. combine what you have with that one and he'll have a super rocknroll set up!

I checked their prices on cymbals whilst on there and they are in line with other places I've looked. They are NOT cheap for quality that's for sure. EBAY has good deals ow and again if you search long enough. I am looking for a specific Zildjian Crash to add to my setup. New ones are over $200. Gently used ones can be had for almost half that. My local drum shop guy knows what I want and will call me if anything cool comes across his desk.

They had some of the Paiste (sp?) high hats for $189 a while back used.

Most of what i have seen there they aren't too out of line on price and they are local so I can resolve any issues pretty easily. Plus, they have let my daughter play some impressively expensive instruments. Then again, she doesn't ask just to play, she really is looking at a 5 string. She has narrowed down what she does not like. Everywhere she goes she tries them and decides she doesn't like any as well as the Fender Jazz. She REALLY doesn't like the ESP.

Good news on my 911 problems. I sent my DME to Steve Wong. He got it Friday. He sent me this today:
------------------------------------
I was going to let you know all is fixed and finished testing and full road testing out yesterday and runs perfect now. So I’ll be getting it shipped back out to you today. You had a failed ignition circuit and part of your problem was due to an out of spec capacitor that just ages out with heat and time, so that has been replaced with a new Japanese made Nichicon high temp capacitor which is the highest grade and temp rated capacitor available. You should be good now. I might suggest to ohm and check the resistance of your coil primary and secondary to make sure they are in spec, just in case so it’s not a contributor or stressing out the ignition circuit in the DME. Let me know if any questions.
---------------------------------------

So maybe this weekend I can have a 911 that runs again! Yea.

Mechanic says 928 is going to muffler shop Wednesday to get x-pipe made.

But also says kid decided he doesn't want a Cayenne like his bro and mom. So...Anybody wanna buy a 2004 Cayenne S with Air Suspension in great shape?

Headlights got tripped up in customs, will take a couple more days to get here. Freaking government idiots, it's just headlights. Had to fill out a form that says yes I ordered headlights like it says on the bill of lading and that the shipper filled out a form and says it contains. And of course this takes 2 more days to "process the paperwork." What a waste of time and money.

So, we looking at 3-4 weeks on the x-pipe?

That pepper wagon would have been great for our trip over the mountains.

Call the 928 wrench in Dallas and he say he doesn't do headers because he doesn't have the capability yet to make them himself and doesn't have a muffler shop he trusts.

Need to go have them switch the 22in wheels off the S with the 20in wheels on the Turbo so can get the S detailed and do a photo shoot so can list it for sale.

The cortizone must be taking effect, Pepper is doing her log imitation. Every once in a while she kicks her foot in her sleep like she is scratching. At least she doesn't snore, Camber snored.

Looking at the tracking info the headlight assemblies came from Latvia, then Leipzig, then Connecticut. Then customs impounded them in Connecticut. The place I ordered them from is in Spain.

Going to have to build a web page for the Cayenne S like I did my 928 GT and Range Rover. Both of those I got my asking price...

1990 928 GT page

Range Rover page.

That sucks that they backed out of the car deal. Hopefully you can get more money for it than they were offering.

Hope so. Hoping to find someone like me that wants the Air Suspension but thinks 340hp is plenty and doesn't want to pay $4000 more for the 450hp Turbo. The S with Air Suspension is not very common.

Only got the turbo for the bi-xenon headlights because it has the cornering lights. And the 4 zone a/c is a bonus I never expected.
