So instead of snow you now shovel trees!

Good job.

It's getting hot here. Thankfully there's a sea breeze to make it tolerable.

I hope all of you are enjoying your weekend. SmileWavy

Weather...It is a good thing today

GH85Carrera 05-20-2017 02:43 PM

Super fantastic weather today. Cloudy real early but total clear and cool now.

Not often do you see so many Gt3 and a lone Gt4. Three were RS3s and the rest just a GT3.

This was at Motors in the morning at the dealership. They are finally trying to reach out to the club after we asked PCNA if they could help. Next month is Le Mans party there.

I spent several hours there playing and chatting then my master Gardner cracked the whip. The drip irrigation is done! Only two trips to Lowe's today after 6 or 8 other trips for the drip irrigation. I also dig up and fixed 3 heads on the spray system for the yard.

I got wet adjusting the heads and got cold before I quit and came inside to butt sit for a while. Phew.

I would be willing to trade my 964 straight up for that GT3RS. Sound like a reasonable deal?

Frost this morning.
The thermometer said 33* but Ellen went to check the garden and said the grass that I mowed yesterday had frost on it but the garden seemed alright.

We are having San Diego weather today. High 50s in the morning and 72 for the high. Clear blue skies. I will take it.

I "get" to mow and edge today and we are washing the Macan. Then planting another tree.

Sunny and warm here. Earlier, it was all fogged in while we were walking around the harbor.

Jeff, glad yer still kicking around out there. It looks like one of the places that is fun to go with a car that will get you out of there with ease. It would be zero fun to be there alone and having to walk out and survive on the land. There are places in Utah that look like the moon. No living vegetation at all, just rocks. No big deal in an air conditioned car going 75 MPH but lfe and death on foot.

We are finally done with the drip irrigation system. All that is left is spreading the mulch. The new baby tree is planted. It is only 4.5 feet tall right now so it has a lot of growing to do. It is some hybrid of catalpa that blooms all summer and hummingbirds love em.

We had a total chamber of commerce weekend weather. Very much San Diego like. No wind at all. And it happened on a weekend!

morning all. had a fun weekend with a charity event for a local hospital. They had two Ferraris on display. They wouldn't le me have the keys to go play. The wife bought a fushia (spelling) tree and I had to borrow my dads van to get it home the next day. Seems the owner of the targa will not put plants in the passenger seat.

Since the GT3RS is not white, they certainly should cut you a deal.

Excellent point! SmileWavy

The car show on Saturday was at our Porsche dealer. The sales guys were there of course but no pressure selling. One of the guys that showed up brought his 5 day old 718 Boxster. It was his wife's new daily driver. I called my wife and suggested she drive the two whopping miles from home and come see the cars there. She parked her daily driver next to the 718. In a lot with all those Porsches from 1954 to 5 days old I loved my 32 year old 911 the most. I will admit I am just a tiny bit prejudiced about it. No doubt some of the cars there were something I would love to have, but I just can't see spending that much money.

RKDinOKC 05-22-2017 01:49 PM

Attended a weekend gathering of 928s. There were 80. A group of the wives came over and told me of all the 928s there, mine was their favorite. Told them I agreed with them.

GH85Carrera 05-22-2017 02:00 PM

What? You have the 928?

Porsche-poor 05-22-2017 02:08 PM

no he had a mechanic's queen. One step up from a garage queen.

RKDinOKC 05-22-2017 05:32 PM

That was back when the motor ran.
