at least its Friday and almost over.

RKDinOKC 05-19-2017 09:19 AM

At work they said as employees we can donate money and have a brick in the Museum Of The Bible that's being built.

Think my brick choice would get me fired...

https://thechive.files.wordpress.com...rip=info&w=300

They could put it in the pre-Eve ate the apple area. Or maybe the Sodom and Gamora room.

Porsche-poor 05-19-2017 09:28 AM

I find that offensive and funny. I should be whipped.

GH85Carrera 05-19-2017 09:33 AM

That looks like a pair of bricks so you are not following the rules once again! ;)

Are they getting together with the owners of Hobby Lobby for the museum?

RKDinOKC 05-19-2017 09:47 AM

Think Hobby Lobby is trying to do all they can to drum up more money for it. Why not just take donations instead of selling putting your name on a brick. Don't think I would want pay to have my name displayed on a brick used to build anything. It's not like it's a Memorial. Especially since the Memorial stuff they usually put your name on posthumously. And if someone comes along later and takes offense to the memorial it's liable to get torn down anyway.

If I wanted to put my name on something I think the thing to do is put my name like the Nazca lines so eons later people would wonder what the heck it was doing there and were you trying to contact the alien mother ship.

GH85Carrera 05-19-2017 09:56 AM

I guess it depends on where the billionaires of the Hobby Lobby want to build it. If they use their money and put it on private property, who cares where it goes. They already have some valuable old bibles in their collection.

It looks like it is going to be in DC.

Woooo the biggest M in the world. ;)

Not much competition for that. Ohio state would have a tougher time making a big zero er um O.

Hi guys. I have a short video clip (26 MB, 15 sec.) of some dolphins near our boatwhile sailing yesterday. Do any of you have the capability & willingness to host it so I can share it here with you?

So, you don't want to buy a step?

Jim, we could share it form our Prime account, but I don't have a Box/DropBox type of account to receive it.

Jim Richards 05-19-2017 11:58 AM

Thanks for the offer, Brent. I could share it with you from my Google Drive. I would need you to send me your email address. You're welcome to PM it to me. Then you'll get a notification that I'm sharing the mp4 video file with you.

slow elk roaming the pasture.

flipper35 05-19-2017 01:12 PM

See how interesting it is in the Midwest in the middle of January? We video two cows playing and head butting.

Yup, we start with the rub for the cows while they are still running around.

We got a little storm here last evening around 7:30. Looking out my dining room window the wind kicked up pretty good and it rained hard for a bit. Thunder / lightning, lights flickered but never went out. And then the phone rang. Trees down south of town, trees down on the west side, trees everywhere.

Worked till 11:00 and had all but one road open. We couldn't get up that one as the power lines
were down across the road and we didn't feel like getting fried.

Started in at 5:00 this morn. got done at 3.
15 to 20 trees down on this road alone.
