morning all. Dropped the wife at the airport. She is on her way to south CA till next Sunday. That leaves me with all the chores.

The weird part is overall the pain level is very low, to almost none. That is the good news!

They gave me some Tylenol, for my mild headache. They asked on a 0 to 10 scale, from no pain to just unbearable pain what is your pain level. I said a 2.

Time to go mow the yard. The bad news is all the rain has made the ground a soft bog. We have had 8.5 inches of rain this month! The humidity is down to only 89% right now. It will be a sweaty time out there.

No edging, too muddy, but I will have to bail the hay if I wait any longer to mow.

That is done. I doubt it is the prescribed treatment from a doctor, but I feel fine. Just a bit sweaty now. Time for a shower.

I went to our local PCA region board meeting as I am a board member. I wore my baseball cap and sunglasses. Some of the board members are Pelicans and have seen my post about gravity. Most had not. I still look like I was mugged. I wish I healed up as fast as the folks in TV and movies. They can get shot in the arm or shoulder of be in a mega fight, and in two days they are all healed up. Maybe it is all just made up!

When we were kids, and I was 13 or 14 my brother and I went to the hardware store and bought some cheap pulleys, a steel wire cable and some anchors. We put them up in a tree in the back yard that had some large Y shaped branches.

My brother could climb up in the tree, jump out while holding onto the handle and I would back up against the fence, holding on to my handle. When he jumped out, that would pull me up and across the yard, and him back up into the tree. We could bounce back and forth several times before we had to restart.

After a while, one of the pulleys broke while I was flying across the yard. I landed face down flat on my front side, in the yard, bounced a few times and said some bad words, laughed and we went back to the hardware store for bigger and stronger pulleys. Mom was mad about the grass stains on my clothes.

I is sad to see Anchor shut down. Hopefully they will sell the brand name and recipe and let the brand name live on.

We received another 1/2 inch of rain last night. So we are up to 9 inches so far this month.
