I have been advised I will be going out hunting and gathering for food at lunch time. I am pretty good at the task of finding food with a lifetime 100% success rate so far.

As expected, my lunch time foraging for food was successful. The breakfast place we go to every Sunday also has lunch. Burgers for both of us. The side of fruit instead of fries is real hand cut fresh fruit, and excellent. The burger was perfection. Burp.

Well no rain on the 40 min drive to drop it off. But the "while you are in there" started in the driveway. The odometer has stopped turning. The speedometer was about 5mph off based on the phones map app. Oh well its just money.

My speedometer was way off with the 15 inch wheels. When I went to the 17s, and much larger tires, suddenly it is very close to the speed shown on my GPS from 20 on up to whatever.

It is nice to have a working speedometer and odometer.

I bet. I will be taken out and sent to CA. Hoping it will be done and back in the car when I pick it up.

Shortly after getting my 911 I bought the oil temp gauge that has real numbers, and not vague markings. Later when I had me steering wheel redone by Dallas Steering wheel and the car was kinda un-driveable, I sent my tach in the have the voltage meter added. It is very comforting to KNOW whet the alternator is really doing. The photo is one that had someone asking about the headlight washers, so I pointed out the switch. Hard to believe that was 15,000 miles ago.

This is the guest bathroom bathtub-shower. Kinda dirty

The is "worm dirt" or worm poop, formed into a dirt clod, and a seed from Mrs. Carrera's garden from last year. The stuff already sprouting is the milkweed for the Monarch butterflies to eat. The other dirt clods have yet to sprout. She had the tubs covered with plastic wrap for a couple of weeks, so they were mini hot houses. The black thing under them is a heating pad for starting plants that is warming the plants to 75 degrees. No doubt that tub would be much cooler as it is against the east wall of the house, and porcelain. There is of course a light shining on them 24/7 right now.

I have my personal checking and savings account at a local credit union. If I use my debit card at least 10 times per month, and make electronic payments and a "bill pay" where they have to mail a physical check to someone, I get a much higher interest rate.

10 Debit card payments is a cinch, and I likely do 20 per month. I pay all my utilities electronically and automatically with no further input from me. The last monthly check I had sent out was to ADT, but I fired them and the new alarm company is electronic as well. I get an email from the credit union saying I had no checks mailed and non scheduled, and I would not get the better interest rate.

So I called them to double check. She advised me to set up a once per month check to myself for one dollar, that I will then deposit back into my same account by taking a picture of the front and back of the check. How silly is that? Oh well, I will make them print a paper check, pay the postage to mail it to me, and then deposit right back into the same account. Whatever to keep the high interest rate on my funds.

Crap. Sorry about the job, that sucks big time. A good CAD guy like yourself should be able to get a new job quickly. Maybe one that lets you work from home.

When I did my suspension project one motivating fact was the front torsion bars were rubbing on the mounts, so I got to go with new torsion bars. I was planning too do that anyway, as I saw how out of center the bars were from the rubber mounts.

Good luck in the job hunt.

I finally got started on my shifter bushing replacement. What a pain.

The center console has to come out completely. To have room I had to remove the driver side seat, and steering wheel. The AC controls and the automatic lock control has to be disconnected, and fed out a rather small hole in the back of the console. And the temp control know has the gas filled tube that can't be kinked or tugged on hard of it has to be replaced and that is a bigger pain.

I did put it up on the lift so I am not crawling on my knees or hunched over. I know why I kept putting it off, as I have done this before.
