I was just happy it was trapped in the tub. It did not have the traction to climb out. So on go the gloves and off goes the uninvited intruder.

Bug free tub!

I can't imagine why or how any bug would venture into the attic in summer. It is likely 140 degrees up there by late afternoon, and zero water. And there can't be much to find to eat up there.

I need to find a leak in the AC on the El Camino. It has lost some gas, and not working at optimum cooling rate.

Good luck on the contract job for the old company.

We have one more day of HOT weather, and then a cool spell. I am ready.

Not the company that let me go. They would get the silent treatment.

I hope yer having fun with grandpa duty.

The (insert long sting of profanity) R4 compressor on my El Camino had died. This one only lasted a 18 months. It will be the last R4 unit. All the good ones from AC Delco have long gone. Just rebuilt or junk fro the start ones are still on the market.

I will have too convert too a Sanden compressor. That means a new compressor obviously. accumulator, orifice tube and two new hoses. I will have too flush the condenser and evaporator, then put it all back together.

I will not miss the grumble and racket of the old R4.

Are you drawing zoo animals?

Some clever Photoshop pro made photo realistic images of kids drawings. Pretty funny stuff.

I got the old compressor and brackets off, but the new bracket is making me scratch my head. The drawing provided looks different than what I have. I will scratch my head tomorrow and figure something out.

I asked a friend over that has been a professional mechanic for 40+ years over to see if he could figure out the bracket. The bracket simply does not fit. So I give up, and I will take it to the place that sold me the bracket and compressor. They have a full service department. I just feel sure that bracket will not work. They can figure out how to mount the compressor. I want them to get everything hooked up and pull a vacuum. I will do the charging.

We have had wonderful mooring weather, and highs in the mid 80s and low humidity.

My scissor lift has one cylinder that is leaking. I ordered a new one from one company a month ago. It has never arrived, so I called my credit card company and said it must be a scam. They will get my money back. I found another company that sells it for less, but I had to call them to order the part. It is less money than the first company, so a bonus for me.
