This first month is not gonna be good. They put off everything to not screw anything up so they could change financial programs for the new year. Not sure why the new year is such a big deal. Our company financial new year is August.

Is a unicorn fart one of those things those people that call themselves furry's are into?

So,
if unicorns fart rainbows. There is a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Leprechauns have a pot of gold. Leprechauns collect unicorn poop? Is that like desert Nomads collect camel poop to cook with?

We got 9/10ths of an inch of rain over the weekend. Armageddon!! But it was pretty darned cold on Friday night, down into the low 40s here. I lit up one of those dura-logs in the fireplace but it took me 5 minutes to get the flue open, couldn't remember how to do it because it'd been so long. Sposed to get up to 62 degrees today. Reminds me of the video of the reporter braced against the wind and yelling when two people walked non-nonchalantly by in the background, ruining his shot.

Yep, Adobe has done it. Filled up Photoshop with so much foo foo crap that it takes more than twice as long to do real work.

Phew, a tough day at work for me. My business partner came over, and we rolled out to the airport. The windsock was mostly flat but would stir a little at 270, it was clear blue skies, 68 degrees, chamber of commerce weather. Got the Garmin G-1000 updated, and a camera mounted on the 182 so it is ready to fly a project in Arkansas tomorrow now that the targets are down. We went down to one of the 172s we have leased and did 4 touch and goes, and got it ready to go back in the hangar. We got one of the other cameras on it so it is ready to go.
We keep the 172 is a shared hangar with a guy that has an old project Rutan design airplane in it. The 172 is a leased old ugly airplane with a crappy pain job, and shot interior. It is just a work truck. Our 182 is a nice pretty airplane. It does everything better than the 172, and for some reason my business partner prefers to fly it, especially on out of state flights.

Space time vortex! We are mid 40s here and PNW weather. Jim and Sammy have our weather.
We fired up the smoker outside on Saturday afternoon since it was so nice.

The company I worked for a while back offered me a promotion in ......... North Dakota.
People in Alaska talk about how bad the weather is in North Dakota. I politely said no thanks, even though I knew that was a career-limiting move. So I followed up with a pre-emptive strike. Sometimes I wonder if that was necessary, prolly never know. But there was no way my wife was going to move to ND. ![]()

We survived Monday. I went to see my dermatologist yesterday. Growing up in Hawaii before sunscreen was used, and running around with no shirt, no shoes, just shorts is causing skin issues later in life now that I am just a little over 29. My regular doc has is son working there now. A recent graduate from medical school and his dad as a mentor. Somehow the dad was tied up, so I saw or more accurate is the son saw me. He has modernized the office some. He like the little pressurized liquid nitrogen gun more than the q-tip method. Four spots zapped on my face, make appointment for January 2020.
The hangar where we keep our leased 172 is a shared hangar. Half cost rent is a good thing. The other airplane is a Rutan Long-EZ. The other guy built it, put 50 hours on it, got it FAA Certified, and then parked it. It is not painted, and not real pretty. It has sat for many years. He has a spare engine, and lots of other crap in the hangar like an old mattresses, a couch, and two OLD school big screen TVs. No one in their right mind would bring a spider infested, super dusty, ugly old couch into their house. Not my problem.

Moring all. Well the road home has been cleared of downed poles and wires. Now if the traffic would just stay off of it.
