Was raised on lots of Crappie, Bass, and Trout that we caught ourselves. Some catfish, but not very often. None of which is very fishy. So just never developed a taste for fishy tasting fish.

Oh yeah canned tuna and canned mackerel. Mom made a great tuna salad for sammuches and a tuna/noodle casserole, neither very fishy. If you get some Bumble Bee brand tuna salad it is very close to Mom's tuna salad except it don't have no eggs in it.. The mackerel was always made into fish cakes that weren/t very fishy either.

Really like shrimp, especially grilled. But if I eat way too much start getting this feeling like I have the shells in my mouth. Been told that is the beginnings of being allergic to shellfish. So just don't gorge on shrimp when I have it.

I love fish. We eat at fish city about once per month. It is expensive for dinner for two. Good food.

When we were on our trip to New England we ate seafood every meal possible. I like to ask a local at the hotel where a good place to eat is. They often start with "good Mexican food place.." and I just stop them. I am NOT trying Yankee "Mexican food. Ask about seafood places and they have lots. The hotel in Connecticut was a tipple score. bonus. They had underground parking in a spot it was impossible to get door dings or hit, great seafood literally across the street, a liquor store in the parking garage, and a grocery store next door. So really it was a full grand slam home run winning the world series. Oh, yea, the room they gave us was a suite, with a living room and the bedroom was a king sized bed, and it was $65.

Have family stays with me from the east coast and all they wanted to go eat is Mexican/Tex Mex. Told me Mexican where they were from was like Taco Bell only they served drinks.

When was a kid and Dad's sister came to visit from Jersey we always had to go eat a Pancho's. A Mexican Borgusmord like Casa Bonita with the flags for refills too.

I eat fresh caught fish, but seldom ever order it at a restaurant. Needs lots of tartar sauce to eat it. I don't eat much shrimp either.

We have a couple local Mexican food places that are very close to the ones we had living next to the border. One is from Calexico (15 miles from where we lived) and the other is from Guatemala I think. Good food though.

We have a 2 car garage attached underneath the master bedroom. We also have a 2 car detached garage where the Cobra and the truck live. And the motorcycles, mowers and trimmers and in the winter time, the snow blower. In the summer the snow blowers go into the "chicken coop" by the pool and the lawn furniture and bikes come out.

Supposed to get 4-8 inches of the crystalline precipitation today.

I love tuna, salmon, and all the mild favored (not fishy) fish. Sushi...Mmmmmm. Fish and chips, with tartar sauce. Mmmmmm. Panko-style fish. Mmmmmm.

Hey Brent, I’m sorry we didn’t squeeze out all the precipitation before letting it move on to the Midwest. I’ll try harder next time.

Oops, forgot about smoking salmon on my grill. Just almost too fishy for me. Have to talk to the butcher at the grocery store and get only when fresh. Have to smoke it that evening or it gets too fishy.

And like Long John Silvers if that can really be considered fish.

Golly, what fun I had today.

The low life mean ol boss made me change the oil in his El Camino. He likes me to do it because I don't just do a quick oil change, I lube the 10 grease zerks, and inspect everything. I found one leaking shock in the front. I put a set of Bilstiens on it likely 20 years ago. I will have to look it up in my little book of maintenance done. I also found the passenger side wiper arm is messed up. The driver's side is a cinch to put on. the passenger side is a different animal. You need the strength of the Terminator, but normal humans have to just cuss. I got it off, and ordered a new one. The shocks are $118 for the pair. A bit cheaper than Porsche parts. Easy to replace as well.

The boss made me order the parts but I used his credit card.

Possibly overcooked? That's one think I see from time to time, overcooked tuna or salmon.

Used to go to a place called Crab Town in Brick Town. Think we went there because it replaced on of our favorite BBQ joints, Piggy's.

Anyway, Always got the Shrimp Creole, really like that. Noticed they had a grilled tuna sandwich. Oh man, that thing was fantastic. Next time we went they had taken it off the menu just as quickly as they added it.

After a couple of successful salmon smokings I looked for some tuna steak to try grilling. That is some expensive stuff!

Tuna steaks are $7.99/lb here, salmon is $9.99-$12.99/lb. My wife buys the tuna and makes Poki from time to time. Mmmmm.

Hey Pete, That weather system moving across the country looks like it might suck. I hope your weekend doesn’t end up being too miserable. Stay warm & dry.

Joe, I hope it’s not too soggy for you in SC.

After about a week of rain, we’re sunny once again and expect a high of 70.

Heck, it's just about summer weather today, Jim! Next rain: September!

I bought an exhaust (slip-on mufflers from Spark) for the carby 900SS. Got them in the mail a few days ago, and have been waiting all week to get them on. Well, somehow the slip-ons didn't slip on quite right. They just wouldn't line up with the hangers. So I took them back off, and checked the part numbers. I ordered the correct part. The box says I received the right part, as did the included literature. But the part number on the mufflers themselves showed them to be the slip-ons for a later injected SuperSport! Damn Italians. Luigi must have put the wrong part in the box. Grrrr.

No more rain? iAy Caramba!

I moved a small shrub from the front yard to the back, and I removed and replanted a palm tree in the front yard to give it more room to grow. I was already aching from yoga class...now I’m just a busted down, ol’ pile of crap. And yes, I do yoga a few times a week.

Good Sundee Mertnin.

It's like winter or sumthin round here. 19°F or -7.2°C outside right now.

Our trimming, transplanting, panting season is February. Before the sap starts rising and after the coldest part of the year.
We had 15 fruit trees and a 100ft x 150ft garden.
Started by trimming and removng everything that needed it, shredding it with the chipper/shredder and scattering it all over the garden.
Then I got to clean out a sheep or horse barn and distribute that over the garden. Not a Saturday I looked foward to.
Then we had a guy show up with a tractor and plow and disc it all in..
Then I got to make ready for planting by roto-tilling the whole thing.
That's when planting/transplanting started.

Didn't have a compost bin. Instead let 1/7th of the garden rest from planting every year. Spread lawn, garden and kitchen waste on that section and tilled it in. Rotated the rest section every year.
