Yea, even in the mid 1980s I remember driving down MacArthur Blvd right into the middle of the campus, and going in to meet with them. Now, it is a secure place.

David, you sent your weather down here. It rained last night and it is supposed to drizzle and rain all day today. We are up to 1.17 inches of rain and 55 degrees. With the wet weather I decided to go back to jeans, and I hate it. Thursday is supposed to be warm and sunny again and back to shorts.

Yea, the same few low spots that flood, will always flood. And there is always some idiot that will drive in and ruin a car, and sometimes die. If I can't see the crown of the road, I turn around and go another way. I learned that the hard way in my 914.

On Portland ave right next to the Will Rogers park is a creek that flows into the park. The road is low there, but only in extreme rain does it flood. I saw many people driving through with no issues, and I was young and dumb. I drover the 914 in, and felt the front end suddenly have no steering, and then the rear end had no traction. I was floating, but the distance was not much, I hit the other side, and drove on out, and water peed out of the front trunk for a long time in my garage. I opened it all up and dried it out.

Later that night it rained more, and some chick in a minivan was washed off the road, and into the park and she died at the same spot.

Now if I see high water, I turn around, to not drown.

Em did not get to shoot last night. Something about high winds, rain and lightning.

I bought the kids some cheap springer airsoft pistols for playing around the house OUTSIDE. We played a bit Sunday and they even talked dad into playing a bit. Jacob decided he would like a full mask since he peeks up and all you see is his head and he does not like getting shot in the forehead for some reason. These 9 year olds these days...

He did enjoy the high noon quick draw competition. I did suggest he take the suppressor off since it made an awfully long draw. He thought it looked cool. These 9 year olds these days...

I take a shower every single morning and then get dressed. Well, OK, if I know I am going to mow the yard or go work in the garage on messy projects I will not bother with a shower until after I am done with said task, but I do get dressed every single day. Jeans suck. Slacks or Dockers suck even more. Jeans are OK in the winter when it is supposed to be cold, but spring has sprung. It is supposed to be warm and no more cold rains. I am ready for more spring! It will come back on Thursday.

When I were much shorter we did that gun play stuff with them suction cup dart guns. You get hit in the forehead and those stupid darts would stick there and everyone would laugh at you.

An nobody got an eye put out either.

The only bad thing that happened is we would move inside and eventually one of Mom's knick knacks would get knoked over. Then we had to get yelled at and told that her knick knacks were NOT there for target practice even though the one's in the kitchen were all chickens.

I was just balancing the company credit card. My business partner spent a week in Washington state. Like a lot of guys, he is fine with some good coffee, and a breakfast food like a muffin or croissant. His likes coffee, and Starbucks is not worth drinking, so he seeks out other places to get coffee. There are some bizarre names of coffee places out there. He will even go to McDonald's or Circle-K for coffee if there is no coffee shop around. So the coffee costs can run from 3 bucks, to 30 bucks for espresso and some breakfast snack.

So Richard, did the darts stick to the chickens?

The kids have Nerf guns for indoors play, and we have lasers.

Sometimes, that was a bonus. But usually just knocked the little chicken figurines over. Like a shooting gallery or setting the up on the rail of a wooden fence.

I may have told you this but did you know that most Nerf guns have air restrictors in them? Youtube is your friend. We took one apart here and at short range those little darts hurt.

I will have to make sure the youngest doesn't see those videos! Especially his sniper rifle.

Yeah the first time an engineer here shot me and ran I waited and he stopped thinking he was out of range to turn and laugh at me. I shot him in the forehead. He was not laughing after that.

About the only good thing about chocolate, unless it is used as a wrapper for the good stuff like a Snickers, Crunch, Whatchamacallit.

I have not had a candy bar in decades. Loved them as a kid. I guess I prefer salty-greasy taste over chocolate. My wife keeps the little bitty bite size chocolate bars in the freezer. About once or so per month I will eat one. I would prefer a handful of cashews. I don't keep em around or I would eat them. I do have some cheese in the fridge.

If chocolate was the price of gold, I might miss it, but no major deal.
