I am watching F1 practice sessions. In a few minutes I am heading to the local Liberty Fest car show. They have hundreds of cars and just take over a local park. Nice setting and lots of cars to look at. I am not entering. Once I get a quick look, I will come home and mow, edge and then fertilize and water the yard. It will be the first time all year I have run the sprinkler. The first time I edged the yard with no muddy edges. It is nice to kick up dust and not sling mud when edging.

My sweat glands are fully and totally flushed and in good working order. It was hot at the car show. I got home and then edged and mowed the yard. Then I fertilized. I have walked 4.6 miles today. And drank about 10 bottles of water, and I did pee once. I sweated a copious amount. It was really nice to take a shower. Now I’m relaxing with a wheat pop. I may have another.

Wheat pop = beer.

Sweat is what I do when I exert myself, even in nice weather. Actually I don’t sweat I spew.

Saw this in the Harbor Freight catalog. My garage is both too small, and too large for this to be useful. Sliding a car a couple feet one way or the other won't make a difference in how much more I can fit in there. Hmmm...$100 each, so $400 for a set.

Then I noticed the purchase limit in fine print. WTF am I gonna do with just one wheel trolley?!

Not a Cord...
Magnificent Auburn Speedster.... had a toy Speedster when I was a little kid....

The Cord was also built by Auburn in a different factory and city...

Auburn and Cord were both owned by Mr. Cord.

Interesting F1 race. An actual exciting race and the opposite of last week’s boring boring boring race.

Since the Cayenne is banged up, drove the GTS for groceries. It was still difficult to keep myself from heel and toe downshifting. It also doesn't like to accelerate away from a stoplight without at leat a chirp to remember to back off the gas.

The hatch back makes it a pretty good grocery gettier tough.

Since considering selling it, not giving Pepper any rides. She doesn't really like it cause she can't lay down in the back seat anyway.

Good Monday morning to all.

I "got" to drive to Kingfisher, OK yesterday for breakfast. Well, actually it was to deliver a chair. My MIL has a Lazyboy chair that has electric powered recline and the footrest, It also has massage, and even a back heater. She loves it, but it broke. Some plastic piece broke. So she hauled it down here and we took it back to the local GIANT furniture store for them to fix under the lifetime warranty. They have a main store that is the size of many malls, and the warehouse is a couple of blocks down the street, and looks like the warehouse in the end of the Indiana Jones movie when they put the Ark of the Covenant away. I went and picked it up last week, and had to wait for them to get the giant forklift to bring the chair out.

Anyway, it is back in Enid. She is 84 and not real strong in her arms. Pulling the lever on a recliner was really hard for her, so electricity to the rescue!
