Jim, I doubt yer gonna need seat heaters out there. Maybe a vibrator function.
I contemplated adding seat heaters on my 911 when I had the leather replaced on the seats. The heater in the 911 is just fantastic, and when it is 16 degrees I have a warm car in a mile. I will always have on a big thick winter coat in COLD weather, and seat heaters just did not make sense to me for that car. Cooled seats like my wife's Macan would be nice, but a real challenge to engineer.

David, it is better to be sick at home and work than while on vacation.

One reason I hate airline travel is the recycled air and tight packed crowds. Just a breeding ground for germs. Especially getting to sit in a seat that some sick person just sat in 20 minutes before I sit in it.

Also true. It was a 9 hour flight so lots of time to breath the crappy air.

My wife is fond of the 851. Would be her go to car if she were to get an old car. Or a Glen Prey continuation.

Told my insurance agent what the estimate was on the Cayenne. The body shop said it was half the value. Agent said if it is half the value the adjuster is most likely to total it.

Well, go find an old Walker Evans Ramcharger. He always ran A/C in his Class 8 trucks.

Yea, that really sucks Richard.

ARGGGGH!

I am no computer super expert, but I have been using computers since the days of high speed modems were 300 baud. I received an email from Hilton about my upcoming stay in Florida. If I join the free Hilton Honors program I can get free high speed WI-FI in my room and at the hotel. Evidently only slow wi-fi is free, and or free in the lobby. So I figure I will sign up. Enter my name and address, and email address, they send me a user number but no password. Click the link, and try to log in and of course it wants a password. The password I wanted to use does not work, so I went around the maypole three times to get right back where I was. Finally I discovered in small text at the bottom of the page, "forgot password" link. So they sent me a new link, and finally got to enter my password and I am in. What a rotten sign in procedure.

So now I can check in with my phone, but I will still need to give them my credit card so I doubt it will save me much time.

The 928 GTG uses Hilton, their wifi block being able to use VPN to get into my work network.

I was on the Hilton Rewards card once before. I only go to fancy hotels once per year or so, and it seems PCA does not do a Hilton hotel two years in a row. I would not have bothered except the wi-fi in the room at higher speeds.

Of course cheap hotels have free wi-fi, and free breakfast. This is a super fancy place and likely nothing is free except the bathrooms.

Some of my parents family friends lived in Phoenix. They had three window AC units that they kept in the garage stacked up, covered, and at the ready. This was in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The house AC unit would crap out every other year, so they drug out the window units just to survive.

They finally learned the AC guy they trusted was a sleazeball and just using crappy parts and overcharging them.
