Get off my lawn!
|
I figured if I had a baby that needed a diaper change I would use one of those fancy machines in the restrooms at restaurants. I see them often, the baby change machine on the wall of the bathrooms. I never inspected them, but I guess you just open it up, and lay the kid on it, slam it shut, and the machine does the diaper change. I have no idea why people don't use them at home.
I often think of my poor mom, and all the moms in her era, and before her through history. No disposable diapers. So all the cloth diapers were saved, and washed and reused. Now imagine doing that with no washing machine or running water, just qa hand pump and just a wash board. Yeesh.

Now that's funny.
I used to work at a plant where one of the maint. people kept a box of them under his desk. When one of the electrical engineers would come in on a project and he asked them a question they always started with "that depends". He would then slap one on the desk between them and say "there is your depends now answer the question".

It was mid 60s on Wednesday morning. The the front came on it.
Now we have rain. Yeah, just rain, no shoveling needed. 1.20 inches of rain since yesterday afternoon. Slow steady soaking rain. The good stuff. Unless you work outside, then it sucks. Until this round of rain we had received just .05 inches of rain this year.
