Happy Saturday! It’s rained lightly, and sporadically here today. I’ve been working on a small project in the garage...not car related.

And in other news....Yesterday, while coming home from our son & DIL’s house, we saw what could best be described as a mash-up between a ‘60s-vintage VW bus and a golf cart. Home made looking job, driving down the street. It seems like the perfect answer to a question nobody asked.

Well back to Monday for some folks. Happy Saturday for Jim and Jeff.

I get to send out statements to the few customers that are kinda slow to pay.

Golly that looks like a fun way to spend the work day. And if you sneeze you can ruin months of work.

Now days it is really funny to sneeze really loud, and then exclaim "dang the trip home from China was a long flight"

Wouldn't work here. Everyone knows I sneeze a dozen times a day. Sometimes twice a day. Genetics.

The meds the doc has me taking I live on Benedryl and Flownase to keep sneezing down. If I awake up with a stuffy nose, it's time to change the HVAC filters.

I lived on allergy pills from the time I was a kid until I had spent 25 years getting allergy shots once per week. 25 years of allergy shots reduced my allergies by 90% down to an almost normal human.

As a kid in grade school back when Benadryl was a prescription only drug I carried a few in a bottle with me to school.

I have never participated in the illegal drug scene at all. In grade school the school taught us about the different drugs and how they ruin lives. I even asked the teacher why in the world would someone take those drugs if they ruin lives and she would not tell the real truth, because it made them feel better for just a little while, so she said they would cover that later. The adult brush off to a hard question.

Anyway I was and still an ignorant on the drug scene but one of the pill they warned us of had a street name of Benies. I figured my Benadryl must be a Benie. I always wondered what sort of moron would think feeling really sleepy is fun.

Did a tour last night with the company our son works for. Amongst other things, I got to wear a towel

and meet a beautiful peregrine falcon

Those are cool birds.

Golly you get to see something new and different, sand.

Dubai is a different world from anything I know. Are you going to visit Ferrari World and the F1 track? That would be cool to see.

Nice sand, nice towel, Jeff. How are the beaches?

Nice bird, too. Retirement rocks!

Hehe, yep not much different to home.

Some old mate last night asked me if I was going to ride a camel. I said to him, ‘mate, I’ve raced those things, no need to do that again’. Hehe

Yea, camels and sand something you have lots of right at home.

I have to imagine the city and downtown area is a bit different than home if I had to guess.

Ferrari world is in Abu Dabi, bout an hour or so away, it’s on the list but we’ve bought the grandkids with us (to see their uncle), so the focus is spending as much time with #1 male spawn as we can.

That bird reminds me of my Great Horned Owl.

Never put a hood on it though. Was more of a pet.

It perched on a welder's glove. Release it and it would fly to a dark place in a nearby tree. Would release a mouse, it would swoop down, grab, and gulp down the mouse. Then fly back to the glove all happy. Liked having it's head scratched. Would half close it's eyes and chirp kinda like a cat purring.

It’s a bit of a head spin for the 3yo grandson, the tallest building in the Alice Springs CBD is 4 stories
