Sorry about the lack of sleep.

We get out of the freezer, just a little. With a high of 34 after it was 9 degrees this morning. Tomorrow is mid 50s and mid 60s on Sunday! I suspect the Macan and the El Camino are due for a bath.

I finally have my fan and housing back. Today I get to put the alternator in the fan, and the fan in the housing, and have a running 911 again. It has been sitting on the lift for over two weeks.

With the 911 parking in it's normal spot, I can just pull in from the driveway with no problem. In the El Camino and the the very long vehicle, and poor turning angle, I have to pull into the far side of the parking area, then back up to make a shot at that parking spot. I have to all the way forward, and against the wall to get it in there, and let my wife's Macan have easy access to her spot.

The 911 is so small it just fits over there easily. When the Elky is in it's normal spot, I can open those gigantic doors all the way, and hit nothing. It sure makes it easy to get in an out.

Hopefully today it all geets done. It is supposed to get into low 50s today, loww 60s tomorrow and into the 70s on Monday! I am ready.

Well I would say I love this weather. But Mrs. Carrera came up with several projects. Remove the leaf cover on the pond, and get it up into the attic. But first was remove the 11,000 pounds of concrete pieces that hold the edges down, and move all of them back into the storage shed. I might possibility have exaggerated on the weight of them.

Then I was allowed to pull up the large steel tree posts the held the weeping Redbud tree I bought her for Christmas two years ago. She declared it fully rooted and no longer in need of the supports. So just whip the 5 foot tall steaks out. That made my back and legs feel great.

Then a buddy came over to take my acetylene bottles and torch and cutting torch. I have not used them in 25+ years, and he needs them. That was nice to get rid of.

Phew, I think I am gonna but sit for a few hours.

69 degrees and blue sky is nice. Tomorrow we get into the 70s. I suspect I will be washing her Macan, and my El Camino.

Morning all. Had a good weekend going till yesterday afternoon about 3pm. I hit a wall and needed a long nap. Them grandkids will wear you out. Gearing up for round 3 on Wednesday. I was able to cook a few night last week so that helps the wife get some work done.

Phew, after many weeks, and lots of bruises on my arms, I have a fully functional alternator. At idle with the all the fans on the AC set go blow, foot on the brake pedal I have 13.5 volts.

The fan and housing are cerecoated, and that took three weeks. Mrs. Carrera hates it when I park the El Camino in the north bay, as it makes it harder for her to park in the center bay. The south bay is the work bay with the lift.

If I could find the engineer that designed the air filter box and rear snaps for the 3.2 Carrera models I would love to punch him in the nose. If I found the engineer that designed the air diverter on the back of the alternator I would kick him in the nuts, twice! It is insane difficult with large American hands. Likely easy at the factory with the fan shroud off, and the engine on a stand during assembly.

It does not hold a candle to going through chemotherapy, but I can cuss and whine, and
in the end I just have some bruises and a larger credit card bill that I can afford to pay.

To be honest, I hate parking the Elky in north bay. With it in the south bay, I can open both of the huge doors all the way, and not hit a thing. In the north bay, I have to park close to the wall, and then do yoga to get out of the car.

Now I just need to eat dinner, and then go put away some tools.

Morning all. Round three in the books now the pump till Friday. Still no word on if that %#$%$# is working or what's next if its not.

Felt well enough to trash out some of the garage to make more room for shelves along one wall before chemo started so lets see if I can keep it up.

Only really bad side effect is being sensitive to cold. It was 50 out yesterday but on the walk to the car the chilly air made it hard for me to breathe and I had to wait for the wife to drive by and pick me up.

I hope all when well with the procedure.

We actually go pretty much an inch of rain. It was just .97, but close enough to an inch.

I drove the 911 to Enid on Saturday for my southern Baptist mother in law's 92 birthday. It was wild with a keg and tequila shots and a live band and dancing. I reality it was go pick up some good pizza and go to my brother in law's house to eat in the sun room. Party party!

The new alternator is great. 13.9 volts after sitting for a while and after the start. Then it settles down to 13.5 volts at idle with the brake lights on and the heater fans running.

I will change other peoples 911 alternator for $5,000 plus parts. What a royal pain in the butt that is.

This will make everyone not here feel better. We are getting rain this afternoon, turning to snow and 50mph winds. I am working from home today. I am not dealing with rain when having to walk a block to get to the car with a cane and in the rain.

Morning all. Sorry I am not around much but when feeling well I have chores to get done which wipe me out.

This is recovery week for headed into round 4. Weight loss is becoming the big issue at this point. Don't feel like eating, what I can eat cause of the type 2 is not interesting and yet the blood sugar continues to rise. Not giving up yet but man they don't make this easy.

We had 40 to 50 MPH steady winds, with gusts to 67 mph. No damage here, but several neighborhoods are without power.

The sun is out, but still lots of wind.
