The weatherman promised freezing rain this morning. I made it to work with non-freezing rain. It is a lot easier to drive on water that has not frozen. We rarely get snow, we seems to get freezing rain instead.

8AM, still working on this paper.
The crap part of this is that I'm not learning anything new on this- I've done nearly this exact sort of think before (closed-loop compensator design for velocity profile control on a CNC mill axis) about 2 years ago.... I'm just having to do the work all over again for a slightly different system. That doesn't make it go any quicker or less painless however.... and thus I drink.

Still just wet stuff here. We may dodge the ice bullet. I sure hope so.
I am about to venture out and hunt for lunch. The good news is there are lots of places to eat and I don't have to shoot and gut anything. I am thinking Chinese food. I have excellent chances of bagging a meal.
