In Tulsa today, heading up the pike to joplin in a few hours. Tonight is the big Sign Association banquet. Which is just an excuse to get dressed up, eat a really expensive meal we don't have to pay for, and to pick up my $1k scholarship check.

what, you think i don't mean it? my ducati tops out at just over 130MPH (one tooth smaller in front and one tooth larger in back). and that was on curves in weber canyon on I84. see below for a link to google maps (mountain green past devil's slide). i could feel the rear wheel skipping on the cracks in the poured cement of the freeway.

my 951, well.... i topped it out in 4th gear. 125MPH, indicated. i felt that going into fifth and continuing the experiment was just asking for trouble.

We are not an item yet...and we ended up not going to the range...she wasn't really feeling up to it...we did however have a very nice dinner and couple of drinks.
I've been told by a close mutual friend that the mutual attraction is obvious. We have just been kinda dancing around the 3 issues that have held me up:
1. The 21 year age difference
2. She is technically my boss (at a job I don't need but took because she asked me to)
3. We work for the catholic church and some of the people in admin there are terribly judgemental

Tomorrow we be a busy and social day for me. It starts with a haircut then El Camino meeting for breakfast then to the Porsche club car show at Hooters. I get a short break until 6:00 pm and then we eat dinner with my dad & his girlfriend. Whew

Picked up my check. Went to the casino floor, wandered around and lost $19 to the machines. Pointless BS....
