That's just real bad luck. I've been waste deep in croc water (didn't know until the following day), but let her know that we're to far south and to far inland for crocs. Now snakes and spiders, that's an entirely different story.

I have vague memories of doing this in high school. Pretty sure you use a table saw, but don't cut the lot in one pass. Raise the blade so that you just cut each edge using the saw guide to set the depth from the top edge. That way you minimise the effect of the blade kerf.

Oh, another tIp, the depth of the blade cut should be no more than 10mm greater than the thickness of the material

Kerf = width of blade. Yes, a table saw will work, but with the twice the material loss. I'll be using the bandsaw.
