It's a poorly designed logic board that I've been asked/tasked to do the layout. The lines are showing the interconnecting nets before any tracks are placed. The tracks that are already down, are fixed and not to be messed with.

At the moment I'm attempting to reduce the amount of nets that cross each other so that the tracks are easier to layout. Doing this by placing components where they best fit and re-arranging pin assignments.

It's a bit of a head fcuk.

I am always amazed when I think that every board was designed to do a task by someone that understands all of that. Good luck with that board.

I have taken the chance with these few days off from school to expand my bike ride routes. I told you about doing more of Mulholland and today I did the Rock Store climb then part of Latigo. It is much nicer than I thought it would be on a bike. I already knew it was great for driving. I want to go all the way to PCH but I need to come back to my car so that makes it quite a long ride. Actually, it is the uphill stuff that matters, not the distance. I can do 25 miles + without thinking of it in SLO where there is a lot of flat stuff. But for Rock Store to PCH and back via Latigo I at least need several more water bottles.

Anyway, it was a nice ride today. I still like the descent back to my car on Mulholland though. I slam the seat down at the crest of the hill. Lets me move around more on the bike so that I feel more in control and stable in the turns.

Almost time for a new rear tire, too.

Alarick! You have a finger splint I can pickup for my little finger? It's just not getting better and I think I have to succumb to wearing a splint for a few days or so. I've been taping it using some folded up cardboard, but water and cardboard don't mix very well.

Well, I don't feel like I really achieved anything today. Circuit board still looks like a POS. Beer O'clock following a 30min drive...woohoo

Insurance adjuster stopped by today. According to the adjuster the hail storm a couple of weeks ago did $12500 damage. Replacement of roof, overhead garage door, side garage door, repaint house, some window screens, and a few miscellaneous items like some gutters, light fixtures, and mailbox.

17 y/o roof was depreciated $5500 and have a $500 deductible so got a check for $6500. Sure glad my insurance covers replacement cost! I turn in the invoices and they pay me for any additional costs over the $6500 up to $5500 to match the total estimate. Adjuster told me that if it looks like anything is going to cost more than her estimate to turn it in before the work is done and it would be covered.

The only thing I am worried about is the $500 estimate for re-painting the house. I had this done about 4 years ago and it was $1000.

Been wanting to replace my overhead garage door for several years.

A few chips here and there in the cedar siding on the gables and trim edges of eave overhang.

Next door neighbor got two fist size holes and lots of interior water damage. She didn't notice until the sheet rock ceiling started bulging down.

My garage door has 3 small dents that I couldn't find until the adjuster pointed them out with chalk.

That must have been a whale of a hail storm. I have never been through one that does anything more than dent cars and such.

There were quite a few hailstones larger than golf balls. Must were about the size of a quarter, which is still pretty big.

World must be coming to and end. Only recently has the hail gotten so large. When I was growing up hail was seldomly larger than pea or dime sized.
