Sorry got caught in the morning server update lockup.

It's a Porsche, i.e.. a never ending project. Still learning tuning.

Morning folks.

Another busy day here. Our pilot has been flying the wings off the airplane. 40 hours a week in a Cessna has to get old. He was in Omaha Nebraska and Austin Tx the other day. Today he flies to Kremlin OK, then Pine Bluff Arkansas then on to Tennessee. We have one job that looks like he will be in Northern Michigan, and he will have the option to fly over Lake Michigan. The other choice is fly way south and Chicago is in the way so he has to keep going south to avoid that mess. Lots of Class B airspace there.

60 miles of water has to get you attention. Of course he has flown that very airplane for many thousands of hours without a hiccup.

Green chile and jack pepper cheese wrapped with chicken, dipped in bread crumbs, topped with a little more cheese and green chile, baked and topped with raspberry chipotle sauce. Yum!
there are a few ways i make chicken. last night was: whole chicken cut up into thighs, breast ect. dry rub with sugar, black peper, salt, half-sharp paprika. load one side of the grill with charcoal. chicken on other side. bake for 1.5 hours. it was soooooo good!

philosophy was my major. i didn't have to study any of the greek classics. go figure. its a good thing, too, because reading plato/socrates/aristotle is just plain torture.

good lord! if those small cuts on the guy's head are the extent of the injuries, that is just amazing.

fishing yesterday:

the reservoir is gorgeous. the wind was terrible. 40MPH gusts, easily.

my son is a trooper.

this was me, right before my reel broke. it was a short fishing trip after that.

i am definitely going to take the motorcycle on the route to get there. it is twisty and fun and the road is in good shape.

Not going to go parfy but I am reading today's supreme court decision and I think this may very be the catalyst to the zombie holocaust or second civil war.

i am not surprised. i think people are in for some hurtin'. they have no idea what is in that bill. no one does, really. 2700 pages of "you are gonna have to pass it to know what's in it...."

/PARF on stijn

that hammer is kinda cool. i went to home depot to buy a hammer to do some casual work in garage with framing and bracing. they have hammers, normal looking ones, that are upwards of $80, IIRC. isn't the hammer the most basic of opposable-thumb-tools? i was floored. i ended up buying one that was about $35. i still bent almost every nail. i suck at hammering, i suppose. my FIL, who is a contractor, hefted the thing and pounded every nail with one swing. he said he liked my hammer. go figure.

Most people make the mistake thinking that swinging a hammer is wrist action. It's all in the elbow. I used to work for a contractor as a labourer before I joined the airforce. After drawing blood from your thumb a few times your learn real quick that you don't ever want to do that again
