I always view Miles as a jazz musician.

I have been too but it's wearing a bit thin. To many commercial breaks.

There are too many options for this statement.

Sharyn was not unopposed to the idea of the Targa tour. Mumbled something about wining the lotto first. Hmmm

No doubt at all, a good Photoshop job is undetectable.
Thanks Glen. Wasn't it called Digital Darkroom before Photoshop? I'm a graphic designer and spend a good part of my day working with Photoshop.

It was long long ago in my memory but as I remember Photostyler was real competition to Adobe. They had a better program so Adobe bought them and merged the programs to make Photoshop. I am too lazy to Google it all.

I do remember we bought a scanner and software package. My mighty 66 Mhz PC with 4 megs of RAM worked overnight just to rotate a 2,600 x 3,000 pixel scan. The boss let me order 4 more megs for well over a $1,000, (I do mean MEGS not gigs.) With a 8 MB PC I was in high cotton. Until I saved just two of those scans as tiff files and filled up my hard drive.

I used to think a image bigger than 70 MB was a total waste of pixels, and it was back then. Today each frame of film that we scan makes a 1 GIG file. We just flew a job that had over 2,000 images. We can fill up a RAID storage device in no time!

I almost really embarrassed myself. I saw a guy from the back that I swear was a old buddy. I was reaching for the back of his neck to grab him when I saw the guy had a beard. Wrong dude! Whew.

Like everyone with mail service we get junk mail. I just got a flyer from RAM Aircraft. They have a engine replacement special. For ONLY $33,300 and the exchange of our old engine we can have a overhauled 1700 hour TBO engine. So if we could get the engine installed for free the engine alone costs $19.60 per hour to use. Obviously it is not cheap to install the engine and feed it oil & gas.

And some people think Porsches are expensive!

Oh they have the "hot rod" upgrade also. Instead of just 300 HP it has whopping 310 HP! And it comes with a new three blade prop and the STC (FAA required to modify anything) for only $59,379!

One thing for sure is MM would have been shut down long ago if they built aircraft engines.

Morning gents!!!!!!

Well finally I have arrived in the land of the right hand drivers!!

miss me? I have been temporarily without computer oomph as my laptop died in the move, deaf much to my disgust, and trying to prize a computer out of the teenager was just too hard, had to resort to the iPhone as my only Internet connection, I felt positively Amish !!!!!

Still no tv trouble with social security number, no ssn no tv subscription, so that is the way it goes here in the land of the red white and blue, eh!!

Missed last few days of le tour de France! And the olympics, have to resort to getting what I can off utube or torrents of events of the net, once I got a computer repaired I downloaded the Olympic opening ceremony in hd from pirate bay, only 28 gig, glad we have unlimited downloads lol!!

Well just thought I would call in, have. Bought a Dodge Durango, have to get used to the size bit bigger than Miss Daisy!!! Both her and Pusha are now ensconced in storage in Oz, sniff,,,,, looking for a good little Porsche older car for a second runabout for the hubby, he is having Pusha withdrawal, saw a nice '70 little kermit green on the for sale adds but it doesnt have a price, anyone know the car?

Better get back to housework, sigh, when I have time I will have to catch up to see the goss, since I am about a month behind, anything exciting happen while I have been gone?

Not sure I made it Jim, or I just survived the transition!!!

Learning again to drive on the other side of the road took ....... 10 minutes or recallbration lol

Except now I have a teenager telling me how to drive. Last time they were much younger so I didn't find it so stressful!!
