Funny that you mention having a PICC. My medical device that I instruct on is very similar to a PICC. It is in between a PICC and a peripheral IV which is what you had in the hospital. When I read your story about being poked so many times, I said hmmmmm, Glen needs one of our products! Dependent on what your medications are and the length you are going to be on them, my device could have worked just as well. It's called the Powerwand. Google it. I instruct clinicians how to insert it and maintain it.

Happy Healing, Glen! Make sure you do your facial flexing! (BTW, that video is totally weird. Funny that the product doesn't freak me out. It's just as weird as the Shake Weight. The woman in that video freaks me out. Creepy.)

The operation to put in the PICC was interesting. I just need it until the end of the month. The I will be done with the vanco treatment.

It is just under a mile to his house. I think I would wear out the tennis balls on my walker going that far. I am not cleared to drive yet.

That's funny, Glen! And yes, the PICC insertion procedure is interesting but our device makes it much simpler and safer. We hope in the future all PICCs, midlines, and central lines will be put in using our technique.

And uggggggggg!!!! I have found two scorpions in my house this last month. Maybe I need to get my house sealed again. I paid 3 grand to get it sealed seven years ago. I hate those boogers. I got stung by one once and my leg was numb for a week.
