Those little details are the difference between a $1 tip and a $20 tip.

yeah we might get a bit wet, got bets on the old dead tree in the next doors yard coming down in the storm, and which way it might go, its a big tree, but don't think it would reach our house. But hey its not my house or my furniture so do I care, embassy would put us up in a hotel anyways.

Seriously? Does a dude really pay attention to these "details"? Curious.

On a different note, haven't been very good at training for my half marathon. Work schedule and travel has made it hard to train. I am going to suck come December but oh well. At least I am out there. Looking forward to getting on my snowboard again.
Those details I would not notice, but if you were wearing gaudy high-heels I would take off points.

I got the wife's car washed and then I did my Elky. The weather is mid 50s and sunny. Supposed to be nice all week but I bet it will rain enough the mess both cars.

Point taken and Max, we are supposed to be wearing heels but I don't want to kill myself just yet.

I don't now people on the southeast coast deal with hurricanes all the time.

Really long term. Last Saturday we had enough hail that it looked like snow.

Lucky we are on a high part of the street, wouldn't fancy being on the downside of the road. Also our basement is not really underground only at the front of the house, above ground at the back, so shouldn't have any probs with basement flooding.

Maybe tomorrow we will clean out a bit of stuff in the garage so that Marilyn will fit in, although there is plenty of room a few things like the golf clubs bicycles etc can go down in the basement, just to make sure there is plenty of room for both cars with no door dings between them, last thing we need is one side of both cars looking like a dalmatian with ding spots, may be need to get those door edge thingies, for the teenager factor!!!

Sid the Stijn thread came through for her. She found a car on line. It was in SLC just down the road from D, so he verified it was as advertised.

Yep Sid, a big hug all round to the boys, I only await Marilyn's dispatch, thought (very seriously) about flying out to SLC and driving her back, but now that the weather is turning to ****, and with the snow storms they have been having out that way, i am having her shipped back to Maryland. Hopefully she will be arriving in the next week or so.

Can't wait.
