Hi Azzy,

The fish was superb

I'm up early in the morn - climbing a mountain. Should be good, I'll take some photos.

I'm off to bed. Have a fun day, night

Hi Stijn,

Bringing this across from the "Krokodil" thread...

Despite my cousin and I being reasonably close (she is much older than I am and therefore also my godmother) I have only on one occasion visited Belgium, and that for a weekend only. Must say about your country that there can be nothing wrong with a place that values beer that much, and the mussels were excellent!

Have always felt the need to go back as I am extremely interested in WW1 history (my great uncle was one of only 120 allied survivors at Delville Wood). Maybe one day I'll be able to live up to my promise, and will most definitely include you in my itinerary!

Cheers!

Azzy, give me a call on my cell: 240-577-4861.

There is an Amish Auction tomorrow in a place called Friendship Forest.

I go every year (friend of mine owns the Christmas Tree Farm right next to the auction) and it is a hoot...there will be over 1000 folks there including Amish from all over the mid-atlantic. I think your family will enjoy it.

Best.

I just finished a simple (for me) job for a client. He knew what he needed but he did not have the software or knowledge on how to produce it. He showed me a sample of what someone else produced and was thrilled when I quoted a price.

In the end he wanted a PDF file that he can print on 8.5 x 11 inch paper on any common office color printer. It was of various areas with the property outlined and I had to figure out how many acres it was, the lat/lon of the corners of the property and some other details. I had to use 8 different software packages to produce the PDF in just the way he wanted it. It went real fast and our only cost besides the overhead of the office was one piece of bond paper for his copy of the invoice. It was kinda fun trying to figure out how to do the first one. The rest were a breeze. I felt guilty charging him that much but he was being raped by some other company. They took a week to do what I did in just a few minutes. He thinks I am a hero.

It is nice to have a quick easy very profitable task for a client and have him love the product.

Yea, is is rewarding to have a customer as happy as a mole with eagle eys. We made money and he will be back.

The fun part was figuring out how to do it.
