you will think it funny that I had to do the DMV driving written test today, and as I had checked their website and seen that with my license there was a reciprocal arrangement that waived the written knowledge and practical driving test, I didn't study, so when I went and they wanted me to do the written knowledge test, I failed. sigh.

I told them before I did the test that their own website says I didn't need to do it, they said that they didn't care, everyone does the test. I insisted they should check their own administrative website, they got pi55ed off, I failed..... they had a smirk on their faces, I slunk out of there,....

Studying tonight so I can do the test again tomorrow,

will have to take the Durango to the DMV tomorrow, as I can't do the practical test in the Porsche as it is not registered in maryland, only has temporary tags from Utah. Not a happy Vegemite (aussie slang, Jeff will understand)!!

Just make sure you're allowed to take the test tomorrow. Sometimes they have a rule that if you don't pass, you're not allowed to test again for x number of days.

I can see why the other Aussies have not bothered to get a US licence, no one has one. I am just trying to do the right thing here, but might as well slash the wrists!

Realistically if you don't have a Social Security Number (SSN) here you are f*cked, and as a spouse of a diplomat I can't get one, so I am f*cked. Life would be so much easier if I had a SSN, things would be much more seamless and smooth.

As a plus for the day, had another lovely sunny day so took Marilyn for a nice drive. Still haven't quite got the 1st to 2nd clutch right yet, but I am getting there.

if I go back tomorrow I am taking the Durango its an auto, got to be easier for a driving test!

As soon as anyone mentions the word test I go into stress mode!!

One guy at work here had a great idea, take the thing into an apple store and make them edit at vid with quicktime pro before buying it.
