Probably not one of your instructors. I taught and did curriculum development there from spring 1980-Sep 1985. Left for a special ops assignment overseas. We taught mostly AF, but also foreign and from other DoD (not many Navy). It was my second assignment at Lowry. Really liked it there. Still own my house there (rental).

I usually sleep really late on the weekends and then have trouble staying awake during the week on a couple hours sleep. I hope to get on a better schedule. I think it is a good sign that I woke up early today.

What are your plans? I need to go buy a chainsaw to cut up a tree that fell onto my property a few weeks ago.

Well since I couldn't talk Beth into going camping I am going to see if she wants to go hiking today, if not I may be hiking by myself.
Gotta do the grass thing at some point and Lanna has to have a bath.

We had a lot more rain last night. My analog rain gauge only goes up to 5.5 and it was full. The digital gauge measures a day at a time so it resets at midnight. It was close to 3 inches when we went to bed and it has a new 3.3 since midnight.

The weather should be great this weekend. We are off to the PCA breakfast shortly. We will run by my dad's house to be sure it is ok. The tornados went south of his place by two miles. The most powerful parts of the storm were in fairly rural areas.

The Weather Chanel had a "tornado chaser" car with a full stickers and the tornado chased them back. Their vehicle was destroyed and the guys inside we're hurt, but survived. The vehicle was wadded up and chunked into a field. They are luck to have survived. They need to hire some real professionals because those guys are not very smart.

Stupid tornado season.

I'm thinking about buying my
Mother in laws C230 kompressor. She just got an E300 coupe. I think I have a problem.

I have a C240 which is the NA 6 banger and it has been flawless. The 230K is a lot more fun though. Gotta love being blown

Yeah, where is Richard? He hasn't posted lately, has he?

I hate not having the boys and not traveling for work. The house is so quiet and I get to cook for just... Me. I miss my guys. And I saw them yesterday. Good thing about me and my ex though is that we get along for the boys. So if I wanted to, I can go visit or go out and eat dinner with them. BUT I have to admit I enjoy sleeping in.

Nothing much planned today. Having lunch with my college roommate. Love that girl. Then cleaning up around the house, work out, do some work, and maybe lay out/swim in the pool although its boring without the boys.

Who is all going to this shindig in July? That place looks beautiful. I would hate to go alone. It would be much more fun with somebody. Hmmmmmm... Let me work on getting a Fan Boy.

I'm okay. When the storm was 30 minutes away I bugged out to a friend's house with a storm shelter.

Foot is hurting so been drugged up and sleeping.

Doc prescribed an anti-biotic after some lab work. Had to go pick up a discount card and call the drug company. After insurance and their discounts it would cost me $6,000 out of pocket!!!
