The serial numbers portion of the body is exactly what is blowing up the prices. They take the serial number bits and graft them onto a replica. Saw one that sold for way too much that was all gone from rust except the serial number bits held together with 2x4s. Much worse than the one pictured.

I am gunning for dead last, and have no doubt I will be able to attain it. I haven't shot skeet in decades and I was pretty bad then.
Add old age and failing eyesight to the mix and I am sure the clay will be safe.

well...skeet

Way back used to be able to hit two with my single shot by palming the second shell and doing a quick load. Would probably end up shooting what's left of my foot off if I tried it today.
