Saturday I finally was able to thank the surgeon who saved my dad's life and we were able to ask some questions about the procedure. Took about 9 hours total, which included cooling him down to about 40 degrees F and warming him back up. His circulation was stopped for 32 minutes while they repaired the damage. And 50% of people don't restart after having the heart stopped.

Pretty amazing.
