Rick, watch Bad Santa. Try to get the Badder Santa version. It is the very definition of an inappropriate movie. If you have a twisted sense of humor and like a great black comedy it is hysterical. I had to put the movie on pause several times because I was laughing so hard. I had to back it up several times to hear the dialog because I was laughing so much. The setup for the plot for the first 30 minutes is slow but then it get rolling.

I had to make a MP4 version for my phone. The next time I am stuck somewhere I will watch it again. I will look like a crazy man giggling and laughing at a phone but I don't care.

My wife will work for two days this week. She is off after Tuesday. I will work 1/2 a day on Wednesday and be done for the week. I could get used to 2.5 days a week with full pay. Heck I never wanted a career, I just want a steady paycheck.

Morning everyone. I have 2.5 days this week, but overtime started in the plant, so I have to come an hour early for those 2.5 days. Salary sucks sometime because I don't get overtime.

I once complained to my dad about overtime and long hours. He was an Air Force officer. He had many years of 80 hour weeks. When he was stationed in Korea he worked or slept for 18 months. If he was not on duty he was sleeping 7 days a week. He did not have much sympathy for me.

On the other hand, end of year bonuses are nice, no matter the size.

Strange, eh? Out of the 5 companies I've worked at since getting out of college, this is the first and only one to pay end-of-year bonuses. They're never big, but they're always welcome.

My dad really laughed about Christmas bonuses. Those are rather rare in the Air Force.

Hah, where I work we get a Christmas Gift of from $250 to $500 every year and if it was a good year a 2% to 4% bonus along with it. Pay raises are few and far between.

Never had an annual bonus (missus gets em) until recently - they call it a 'retention bonus'. I get annual pay increases (from anywhere between 1.5-6%). Overtime (time and a half, double time, or double and a half) adds between 15-20%. Labour costs are high over here (high cost of living too).
