It's still nice in the evenings, especially after dark.
. But with the Porsche out here now I've got something else to play with.

It is ironic that I have been waiting for a good hot day to check the AC pressures on my 911. I recovered the refrigerant and pulled a vacuum on the system when I did the engine rebuild. It is a long story but it was easier to recover and recharge the system than to leave it alone. Anyway I recharged it on a cool day and I really want a good HOT day to test the system. We are having the San Diego weather and they have ours. It is 55 degrees and partly cloudy here and the high is going to be 90 in San Diego today.
We will get HOT next week so I can get the AC tweaked to perfection for my trip through Death Valley next month.

Tweaking the A/C on my 911 is easy....just kick the box of parts once in while.

Well in mid June I'll be here. The A/C system on the car was so messed up when I got it. The simple fix remove it. One of the pipes from the rear condenser was snapped off the smuggles box fan looked like someone had dropped a heavy object on it.

No doubt in Washington you don't want or need AC very often. If you don't drive on multi state road trips no AC is a viable option for you. This will be my third trip to California. Flagstaff is the only cool part of the trip. The rest will be HOT.
I totally understand I am weird. I like every part of my car to work as designed, or better than designed. The one exception to that is the dumb federally mandated shift light. I always ignored it when it was there. Now I have a volt meter in that position.

Yeah I looked into fixing it and found that it just was not worth it. Now my daily driver has A/C and climate control so that I get.

Not sure what I will do with it when it is up and running. Our daughter thinks it should be hers when she gets her license but it shall not be driven in the winter here. Which sucks because that makes two cars I can't drive in the winter. The plates we have are collector/hobbyist and have a restriction that you can't drive in January. In the Cobra with no top I am OK with that, drove it in a snow storm in November to give a friend a ride. There have been clear salt free days in January's past the 911 could be driven. Not that I would need to. Ideas? Keep it, track it, sell it, give it to a kid when they move south?

I'd give up to $800 for almost any car. That's what I bought my Range Rover for. Costed me $400 to have it shipped to me from South Carolina, but when it got here it had a brand new sticker still on them set of tires in the back.
The heat and A/C in a classic range rover sucks. Got it all tweaked up and other owner in the area says it is working better than theirs, but it still sucks. Saving an looking for another winter beater that has heat and air.

On my way home from work, I walked past a guy wearing pajamas for pants and he was engaged in a riveting conversation with a shrub.
Yep, city life has it's perks.

I have had better conversations with shrubs and dogs than some people I have known.

Call me negative, but I really dislike dealing with people who are deliberately dishonest.
And because of the work I do, I deal with ****ers like that on a daily ****ing basis. [rant off]
