Hated to have to resort to a car payment. Been without car payment for a while, thank goodness with all the medical bills for my foot. No matter how good your medical insurance is they always charge more, it's a racket. It will be worth it to have something to cart Mom around with while she is still mobile. She is getting to where going for a ride is the only thing she will get out of bed for. The 928 is too low and the Rover is too high. With the Cayenne can set it to whatever height works.

Medicinal, hell yes!!

When I was younger I was stressing out and put on blood pressure medication. Started flying radio controlled airplanes. The adrenaline rush and time spent concentrating on flying the plane lowered the stress and blood pressure enough that doc took me off the meds.

I moved and was no longer able to keep up with the radio controlled airplane hobby. My blood pressure started rising again. By coincidence picked up a 944 Turbo S and discovered autocross. Porsche plus autocross did the same stress relief as the radio controlled planes. Still not on any blood pressure meds.

And yes, I live in a different world than everyone else.

Where is this loud you are drive to so can ovoid it.

Few times drive with open headers or big exhaust leak, instead of too loud, just made me drive slower somehow.

Glad I've never had migraines. Maybe you have to have a brain for it to hurt.

WTF? Why do you think we own these things? For the gas mileage or creature comforts? It feels like a 105 frickin' degrees out today and I'm driving a car with no AC and a greenhouse with glass everywhere.

Oh, and I'm driving my 911 again. It's been at TRE for the past month. So grateful to get it back. (Best of luck, lfot, with ME 109. It was good to see you today.)

Opened the door to the garage to find Mom. She was bent over scooping the cat's litter box. The dog ran past and just as she came up behind Mom, Mom farted. The dog immediately barked at her. I laughed so hard I cried.
