Best to rub it in with the application device Jeff....

And damnit! The bug won't start. Left it sit for about two months and nothing. Hoping the whole tank of ethanol isn't toast.

It is probably the fuel injection computer or the the water pump that is locked up.

Did you give the Bug's space in the garage to the Porsche?

Then you probably have been driving the Porsche instead too...

Have you seen any of the Herbie the Love Bug movies?

Sadly haven't been driving either with the heat. It was in the low 80s today so we were going to take the kids for a drive. No can do. I'll take some either over and see if it will fire on that, hopefully I can get it running without having to drain the tank.

Damn ethanol! I just wish there was a way to get 100% gas out here.

My 911 starts right up after 2+ months. Though, I do need to charge the battery.

Never know with fuel... I've let bikes sit for 6 months and been fine. Had another tank go bad in under a month... I'll know more once I can spend some time on it.

Maybe if you put some Brown 25 in the tank.

Chemtool works for ether.

True, true... Though, tis not a one time occurrence and we get our gas from the same refineries.

I am always leaving the garage queen and my small pickup sit for 2-3 months. I put Stabil in the gas tanks and connect a trickle charger to the batteries. So far, they always start right up when we arrive at our SoCal outpost.
Knock on wood.

Would have been a hot slumber in that storage unit!

And Jim, I had been thinking I should splash some stabilizer in there, I just forgot when. I put it away. Didn't think it would end up sitting that long.
