Those pix of the actors I took last weekend. I thought I was doing a good thing for the ladies by running their photos through a "portraiture" filter, to get rid of blemishes, soften things up in their faces. My dad did the same thing, but had submitted his pix to the instructor, who rejected them, as these are actors and the head shots need to be sharp and show blemishes. The casting agents want to see good/bad complexion. Now I am redoing my pix....

You should have come on down to the Venice Vintage Moto shindig today. Tons of great looking chicks. Lots of 'em dressed up in vintage pin-up outfits. Chicks dig bikes.

I'm kicking myself for not going to Deus Ex Machina for the cool Porsche event last weekend. Spent most of the day up at Willow Springs on Saturday and just chilled at home Sunday watching the F1 race and loading photos. I had seen Chad at the Rock Store Saturday morning and he mentioned something about a show...

I would like to have seen Pat's road car. Might have been a chance to take him up on his offer to go driving that he made at the LBGP this year.

Yeah, me too. I always find out/remember these things the night after the event.

Seriously, someone has to put together a calendar/reminder system for all these little car gatherings in LA/SoCal.

Hola, Rick. We're gonna run over to the Shenandoah mountains (north part) and do a little hiking today. Probably only in the upper 40s to upper 50s while we're there. Fall is upon us.

Morning folks.

I will have to wander out to the garage and find another project. There is always something with old cars.

Jumped in the Highlander to go to work Friday.......no power steering. Checked the belt and it was fine. It's only a mile to work so I muscled it there and home again.
Today I finally had time to crawl under it and found the return line had rusted through.
Here's what I don't get.......the line out of the reservoir is rubber.... it makes a few bends and is clamped to a steel line.....that makes a few more bends and goes to rubber again only to return to the steel line that rusted out which in turn is.......you guessed it........clamped to a rubber hose!?.
Why didn't they just run a rubber hose the whole way?
