Welp, I took my 911 in to get it on the Dyno.

Steve Wong says after we figure out why it is running way rich at WOT I should get another 10 HP.

That will be nice.

Steve thinks I may need to tweak the air meter box. To my knowledge it has never been opened.

I am gonna round it up and claim 210 HP.

Don't know. This is the first time I did the 911.

I just took this from my owner's manual.

Yep, so BONUS for me.

It is common knowledge that Porsche is conservative in the published numbers. No one is going to sue them because they have MORE HP that stated.

Drivetrain loss is typically 17 to 20%. So 210 rwhp would be 253 to 263 crank hp. Some dynos will calculate actual drivetrain loss by measuring the time it takes for it to spin back down after the run.

My 2.5 liter 944 Turbo dynoed 409 rwhp that means it was making 511 crank hp. eyoww. It was almost undriveable at that level.

My shop made a real bad "oops" and I got to cash in before they wised up. They have been open for 33 years, so they are having a special, $33 oilchanges and they used no disclaimers. Yeah I did the Boxster today Lanna goes in tomorrow and the Mercedes on monday. That is a whole lot of Mobile1 for me and not a lot of money for them.

And you likely don't feel bad about that at all.

Well I have just spent the last hour catching up with the thread, haven't been around, slack I guess.

The midget did his first SAT tests last Saturday Morning. Don't get the SATs really, they can sit them multiple times, they only last a morning. In Oz the year 12 Higher School Certificate, you get to sit once (unless you do year 12 again) and they last for 2 weeks. Jeez, sure do hope this gets him into an Oz Uni, hopefully they will accept this pathetic test as an equivalent, they say they do, but, you never know.

It was sold by K. Dee Marketing and it was a concentrated aloe vera drink. The juice, not the whole leaf. The whole leaf stuff has latex in it and shouldn't be taken internally. Found an address and phone for K. Dee Marketing in San Jose, but nothing else on the internets. It has been 20 plus years. Would think most any Aloe drink would be helpful.
