we had stir fry beef with ginger and almonds, stir fry veggies and steamed rice, and it was all yummo, and managed to use another jalapeno from the garden, the beef was nice and hot!!

Well, I must say, grits or beef either one sure sound a lot better than buttholes.
We had meatloaf, broccoli and cheese, smashed taters, and ranch style beans.

Here's a question for you all.
Does it matter where jalapenos are grown geographically, are they hotter in other parts of the world? ![]() They seem pretty lame over here, either fresh from the supermarket or pickled in jars. Even the ones marked hot leave me still wanting. I'm growing my own to see if they are different. BTW, morning all

Most of my chilies in my garden are Goat or Birdseye chili varieties from Thailand. They've got a good punch, the odd one leaves me curled up in the fetal position weeping.

roast a few jalapenos on the grill, seeds in, and see how that works out for you.

Cheers, I'll give it a go D.
![]() I was just looking at this list Chili Peppers - a list of chili peppers and their heat levels Now I know why the Thai chilies give more of a kick. Wow, there's some hot ones out there. The missus thinks I'm crazy when I pop the Thai chilies like lollies, and I wouldn't dare go any further up the scale after the occasional knock down by one of them.

Evening guys....
I decided to pull the caulking out of of the upstairs shower door as sometimes when I shower there is a little water on the floor.... While I was working I decided I would do the bead along the floor too, since our bathroom looks like a monkey attacked it with a tube of caulk. Anyways... I start pulling it out and huh, why is the corner of the linoleum loose.... Then I pulled it back and OH F**k, black mold. Apparently more water has gotten out than I though. Luckily it was only about a 1' sq that was moldy. So i went and got a respirator, mixed up some strong bleach water and cleaned it all. Planning to clean it several more times with bleach and get it soaked good into the underfloor. I also cut into the wall above the area as the sheet rock was soft, but luckily no mold in the wall. Going to give it a week or so to dry good before patching it up or using that shower again. I'm tired of these projects that turn into 3 more projects.

I got rid of some mold in my en suite too
![]() ![]() 35 years of water ingress turns concrete back into it's original dry ingredients.
