Morning Y'all,
Sid you have more then enough fuel pressure for the car to run. Do you have spark? Do you have an injector pulse? Richard do you ever sleep?

Well one advantage is if anybody was ever casing your house they would soon pass you by.

Yeah, Neighbor across the alley commented that my living room lights are on all night.

I have a street light in my back yard. Electric company calls it a security light. It was there when I moved in. My next door neighbor said it shined right in her bedroom window so I had the electric company turn it off. It costed $10 a month. After a week one of the other neighbors came over and offered to pay half the $10 if I would turn it back on. The next week the same neighbor that complained said she decided she liked it and offered the same thing. So they pay for my light in my back yard.

A different neighbor that commented on my living room lights being on all night complained about the security light keeping her awake. I had the electric company come out and put a shade on it so it does not shine on her property. Instead of being grateful, the old biddy complained about my living room lights being on all night. There is ONE double window in my living room and I have blinds that I keep closed on the top half of the window. So...any time it is dark and the dog goes out, the dog gets the full party mode of the back yard being totally lit up.

My house was a rental when we bought it and the last tenant worked as a lineman for the local power company and he installed a dusk to dawn light. When we bought the place for some reason we had to sign that we would not cut the pole down so I simply shot the light off the pole, well the bulb anyway. A few years ago some of the local old people, including the old bat across the street got the power company to install street lights in the neighborhood (Move to town if you want constant light) and they reinstalled a bulb in my light. Now keep in mind that this pole has no number on it, and technically does not exist. I had no idea they put a bulb back in it until it got dark one night, yeah I was not happy so I got out the ol red rider and handled it. I called the town planner and told them to never hook the bulb back up, that pole is private property and that they are trespassing and vandalizing by definition and I would take the town to court, to which I was told there would be no bulb replaced.
Two days later the frigging light came back on so I dealt with it in true Rickie fashion, a twelve gauge and double 00 buckshot. The next morning I called town again and told them to expect a call from my lawyer. When I got home that night the remains of the light and all the wires were removed and only the pole remained.
The old bat across the street said she was going to have a street light put up on the corner of her property to which I told her good luck since the two poles she could hook to were both n my property I would not grand a right of way to the power company and guess what, there are no street lights that shine on my house at night.
I don't understand people who live out in the country but want it bright at night. Statistically there is less crime in the dark up town section I live in versus the down town area where they have lights. It is supposed to be dark at night, It was designed that way for a reason.

When going camping with friends, one friend's camper has 2 small halogen spotlights mounted on each end of his awning that he leaves on till he goes to bed, it just completely ruins the experience of sitting around the campfire (so does bright cellphones). Our house is completely black at night except for maybe a TV when my wife can't sleep. The one neighbor we have has a dim security light over their driveway across the street that just allows me not to stumble on some unseen obstacle. I much prefer it really dark at night.

Why oh why is it that every single time I take Lanna out for a spin there is always some jack wipe driving some clapped out, bordering on being a two stroke that just feels the need to show me how big their stones are by trying to push me?
Today it was a Dodge Stratus, with a paint job of many colors. At least I can commend the guy for re purposing other cars but really? REALLY?
I wasn't in a mood to raise hell, I was just taking a nice easy drive in the country to go to the bank and back.
I think I should just drive the big stupid truck everywhere, no one ever gets too close to that thing

Got caught in a rain storm the other day with the top down, sheeeeeeet!! Had to get home and towel the interior down, leave the garage door open for a couple of days and dry the poor dear out. There was just nowhere to hide, no overpasses, no empty carports, nothing. sigh

Backing out of the garage to go get a donut this morning...ran over a jug of dishwasher soap. It must have fallen out of the groceries unnoticed. So...since there was a big soap spill the garage floor got a good scrubbing. Now the garage smells like clean dishes.

Okay, check this out...

cord cutters

The best solution so far for cutting the cableTV cord and still getting programming.
Pretty simple and already set up, but poked around a bit and didn't find any HD.
Man, my friend that sends me this stuff has just Got to get a bigger TV.
