Fox Sports Sucks. So many commercials and so often I fell asleep and missed the last hour of the race.

Morning all. I watched a lot of Le Mans coverage but it is a challenge with the crappy coverage. The race was not on at all for hours and supposed to be shown at 10:00 pm but is was some goofy game of dudes in funny shorts kicking a ball around. That game where you can't touch the ball with hands unless you are the goalie or taking a bribe.

Why are they showing a GAME on a sports channel? The race was on, racing is a real SPORT not a game and they show a game. It makes no sense.

Keep quiet about the results! I am catching up on the coverage. 5 hours to go.

It was won by a race car. Race cars took the other podium slots.

OK, I am done watching. Dang Fox sucks big sweaty ones. Horrid coverage.

Great race results.

There were some non-in-car cam shots on fox, but there were more commercials than race.

Think someone needs to approach the Lemans organizers with an internet streaming event coverage deal with real camera work and commentary. Bet you could get advertisers would be happy to more than pay for it for access to a captive 24 hour audience and do the picture in picture advertising thing like is done on the F1 races. Or even better just put a logo ad in the corner of the screen like the networks do.

Porsche had a live feed from inside car 17. It was just a stream. No commentary and nothing about any other part of the race. Interesting but some commentary and listing of positions is needed. Almost anything would be better than Fox managed.

The Porsche strean page had 4 in-car cams, and a radio broadcast commentary.

Or at least the page I was on did, they had a running tally below those

The second RSR went out early so all there was was onliy 4 working in car feeds for most of the race.

To the left of the video area was an audio stream of a radio broadcast of commentary on the race. They had a standings that updated very quickly and a track map were you could see dots representing the various cars going round. Funny thing was the car 92, the second RSR was stuck in one place were it went out. After the race the number 92 dot was the only dot left on the track map.

Found some streams on the race with good video, but I don't understand much French. Oh, and there was one in German which I also am not very fluent in. Everything else just kept pointing me back to the sorry Fox coverage.

The thing that really got me about all the commercials on the Fox Sport broadcast was about 1/3 of the ads were for Fox Sports 1 which I was already watching and how great it was because it was live.
